Category/Keyword/Text Search
The story file is searched according to
the parameters entered by the user. A full text search,
as well as searches using selected categories,
keywords, ratings, age groups, and posted dates, is available.
2) Stories Posted On
This Day
A listing of stories posted on this
month/day in previous years.
3) Story Title Search
Each listing gives you the complete
title, the number of story parts,
and the name of the author w/email hyperlink of all
stories on StorySite.
The small sub-sets above load very quickly and
I recommend using them if you only wish to look
for a specific story where you know the name.
4) Google search
This service is
provided by Google. Once a month they 'crawl' through the entire site
and build
an index using the first 101 k of every page. I cannot guarantee the
accuracy of the search,
although it's high, nor can I tell you the last time that they
indexed the site, but it adds another
dimension to your search capability. For searching the story file,
you should use our own
search engine above (#1) because it searches the entire story file.
