You need to revisit here Janet, A bit of editing will help Comment by Stanley Morton on 06/27/07 Grandma got her precious granddaughter and she became the woman she held with in her sou. very sweet, sentimantal. No worry about her discovering her true love and the heatache of revealing her secret. Comment by Staci on 11/07/05 I have now read quite a few of your stories, but this was the first. This was the story that forced me to read the others. You have a real talent for word-smithing, and now I will read ALL the others. My secret is just that, a secret, and it's refreshing to read of the courage of your characters as that become the female that they know they are on the inside. Thank you so much. Comment by cute_jacqui on 10/12/02 I loved the story! Thanks so much to the author for giving us such a wonderful story that was based on Clarice's fantasy -- and mine! I so wish I could have been Clarice and had such an understanding Grandmother to help change me from a boy to a girl! I particularly liked the dressing scenes, with the housekeeper, and especially at the dress shop! I am so glad Clarice could go to the prom in her beautiful gown! I could imagine her dancing with the handsome boy her Grandmother had picked out for her, as he held her closely! A delightful ending to a perfect story! Thanks so much! Comment by Diane Sutton on 05/22/02 Every so often an author comes to the front and give us wonderful stories to read. This one author has that talent and shows it with this story. |

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated. Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated. I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory. Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also. There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box. Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs. It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional. Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns. Be forewarned that abusive remarks and language will be removed, and the posters may be banned from this AND other areas of StorySite. |
