Such a cool story and very believable   I had a mother who had a suspicioin about my fem side when I was only 8 and she encouraged it to her delight and of course mine too. Mother's can be such wonderful mentors cant' they...Now dad are a tad different  I liked your story because it was not seemy or messy   it was SWEET  thannks

Thanks for the SPOILERS, people... :/ At any rate, when Amanda reaches the end of the story, she finds it to be the deep end -- as in, being pitched into the deep end of the pool. Now, it's sink or swim, with an "admirer" along for the ride... Will it be a "date" with destiny? I suppose we'll never know...

Amanda, I liked this story. I guess it only goes to show, you can't fool mom, not even for a moment. Giggle.

Dear Amanda:

Fun, short, lovely and lively story. What fun, John thought he was fooling everyone and he was the one getting fooled. Amanda's acceptance as Amanda is simply delightful. Also I have never read quite this plot twist.

Great read and hope you still read your comments. Thank you so much Amanda.

Hugs,

Kristi

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
