Unhappy Halloween 3

"Mediaeval Times." Larry cooed as he clasped his pink painted nails together. His blonde hair was done up in original STAR WARS Princess Leia buns as he dressed as a female peasant from the dark ages. "I can't wait. Next to Disney, this is one of the biggest reasons to come to central Florida."

"You could of told us that we'd be the only ones in costume though." Philip said in a costume shop rented tin foil armor. "This is nuts."

"This is fun." Paul said dressed as a Princess. "Just remember that we're on a date and you guys are paying for Lesley and me."

"Paula's right." Lesley agreed. "This is going to be fun."

As the group entered the main hall they first got in line and had their photos taken with the castle's king and queen. Then Paula and Lesley had their heads character sketched onto the bodies of harem girls riding unicorns. Paula was glad not to be dress as a gut and have to take the plain horse and sword holding sultan.

"If you "girls" are through poising." David said dressed as the black knight since he wore nothing but black in his life. "Let's get to our black and white checkered section before it's time to eat."

"Men." Lesley shook her head at Paula.

"No sense of romance at all." Paula finished Lesley's thought.

"These men should be dressed as castle fools not knights." Lesley added as she and Paula both giggled all the way to their seats. They arrived just in time for Merlin to appear in the center of the arena and welcoming Camelot's guests.

"You could of made us late." Philip said as he began sipping the soup from the bowl. He for one liked the idea of no silverware to take care of. Eating with his fingers was just his style.

"Shh," Lesley said. "I want to here Merlin."

"Okay, Okay." Philip said as he rolled his eyes. "You two are getting into your rolls a little too much. Bad enough you're making us pay instead of going Dutch."

"Thank you dear Merlin," King Arthur said as he sat with his queen beside him. "Let the entertainment begin. May the best knight going for the hand of my daughter be successful."

"I don't now if that beard is real or not, but he's sure handsome." Lesley whispered into Paula ear, who just giggled and smiled. "I bet he'd make a better date than Philip here as well."

"Just dig in, will you." Philip said, feeling totally embarrassed. Lesley was just as embarrassed at Philips table manners with the bread, chicken and vegetables. They all had goblets of beer to go with their food.

"This is so gross." Paula said as her fingers got all sticky from eating with her hands. She then looked toward the field. "Our knight is already out of the contest. Do you want to route for BLUE/GOLD or RED/GOLD now?"

"Will you stop talking like that and enjoy the show." David said as the knights on horseback charged down the arena to collect rings on their lances.

As the knights charged and battle each other, they knocked on another off their horses and went to fight on foot with weapons placed along the arena walls. As one knight passed under Paula, she couldn't help but toss the good knight her hanky for good luck. He just waved at Paula who blushed as he went on to victory for her.

"What a knight." Paula said a bit drunk and almost falling into the moat. David had to steady her as they made it across the drawbridge and back to the parking lot. Philip; who stuck to Pepsi since he was driving, got in and took them all back to their hotel and the guys put their girls to bed.

THE END
