Transite

Chapter one

It came from somewhere deep in the Galaxy. A meteor composed of strange material with strange powers. It had the power to transform an object into something else but it was only temporary. After a half-hour the object would return to its original form. It left a fiery trail as it came down through the atmosphere to land out in the Mojave Desert. Its flight had been noted by several observatories but as it was only small not much attention was given it. A man out prospecting for gold saw it and went to investigate. He picked up the strange purplish glowing rock and took it to the University of California were tests reviled its strange powers. They called it Transite. Plans were made to try and use it for the benefit of mankind such as restoring limbs to those who had lost them and other similar projects.

 

Chapter two

Sometime later they found a young man to act as a volunteer to test ways of extending the time an object would take to restore its original form. His name was Mike, Michael Jeffson, a 18 year old who was trying to save money for a collage education. He was not much to look at being short and average looking. He hoped to become a jock through the changes. They tried many things but none seemed to work. Thirty minutes after each test Mike returned to the state he was at the start. They had made many changes such as made him taller, fatter, changed his hair colour and many other things to improve his appearance.

One day one of the scientists, Professor Anderson, who was working on the project was reading in a magazine about some of the ideas men had written in on what they thought the ideal woman would look like. He thought that it might be a good idea to see what she would be like by turning Mike into her. He conferred with his fellow scientists and they soon worked out a pattern for her which they called Michelle. When Mike arrived for that days test they told him they had a surprise for him but not what it was.

Mike was prepared for the test by being injected with chemicals that they hoped would lengthen his time as Michelle. He then was exposed to the Transite using the Michelle pattern to transform him into a girl.

She was gorgeous. She stood 5 foot 6 in her stocking feet, had look blonde hair, deep blue eyes, a small delicate nose and chin as well as possessing the ideal feminine figure. She was shocked at first but soon found she liked her new look. But it did not last. Half an hour later she turned back into Mike. Everyone was disappointed.

 

Chapter three

Mike returned to his rented apartment that evening and prepared his simple meal. He watched TV for a while before retiring for the night. As Mike prepared for bed he thought back on his day and in particular his time as Michelle. Little did he know that that night a life changing event would take place. There was a thunderstorm brewing outside and the natural level o f gamma rays was at an all time high. This, while he slept, with gases in the air from pollution from the local factories reacted with the remains of the chemicals in his system and the radiation from the Transite to reactivate the Michelle pattern. This caused him to become Michelle and made her his normal form.

Early the next morning Michelle was awakened by the sun shining in through the bedroom window. She rolled onto her side to hide from it and one of her full breasts became trapped between her and the mattress. It signalled its presence causing her to sit up in bed in surprise. As she looked down at herself she was amazed to see Michelle instead of Mike. She arose and checked herself over very carefully. Everything she found told her she was a girl. She decided to wait half an hour to see if she would return to being Mike before going to the lab to see if the scientists could turn her back into a male.

She had a quick shower, got dressed for the day and had breakfast to fill in the time. An hour later she was still Michelle.

 

Chapter four

Michelle made her way to the lab and asked to see Professor Anderson. She explained to him what she knew of what had happened. Tests show that she was a normal female and that traces of Transite radiation remained in her system which proved who she was Over the next few days they analysed what they knew of that days work was conducted without finding the clues they where looking for. Michelle remained; there was no way they knew of to bring back Mike. The project was in the end wound down due to lack of funding and over the next year Michelle adjusted to live as a girl. She became a fashion model, earned a lot of money and got herself a college education. While doing this she met a nice young man whom she later married. They set up house in a suburb of Los Angles and had several children. But all that is another story.
