SPELLS R US: PARTY FAVORS                          by: Paul G Jutras

It was Sarah's 16th birthday and Sarah had invited her new boyfriend Todd. Todd had never worked a day in his life. He got by with help from his parents and going from one girlfriend to another. Sarah's mother knew this but couldn't make her daughter see the truth.

Going to the mall to pick up balloons for the party, Ann notice a party shop had opened up. It was painted colorful red, blue and yellow and couldn't help get someone attention. She pushed the door open and heard the tinkle of a bell hung over the door. "Hello?" "Greetings, Ann Sawyer.Welcome to my shop." Said a bearded man in a bathrobe and pointy hat. "I have been expecting you."

"How do you..."

"Know your name?" The man answered. "I'm a wizard. I see al and know all. I know you need balloons for you daughter party."

"$10." The Wizard held out his hand. "$1 a balloon. If you're smart you'll make Todd hand them out. That is if you want to get rid of Todd from your daughter life."

"You can getTodd away from my daughter?" Ann asked.

"I am a Wizard after all."

"Deal."

THat afternoon, Todd rode up on his motorcycle. "Hey there, where's my cupcake?"

"She's getting ready. As you can see the other guests are arriving, can you hand out balloons while I finish in the kitchen?"

Todd thought it was childish to hand out balloons to teenagers but Mrs Sawyer made great food. Hearing a rumble in his stomach, he agreed. As Ann handed him the balloons he felt electricity pass between the two.

"Welcome." Todd said as he handed Missy, Jackie and Monica a balloon. With each balloon handed out he felt another surge of electricity pass through his body.

He also felt lighter, and didn't notice his hair getting longer.

As he continued to hand out balloons, Todd's breasts grew and stretched out his shirt, his hips rounded out and his face and body hair faded away.

By the time the final balloon was handed out, Terri went to join her best girlfriend to celebrate her party. Everyone but Ann had forgotten Todd had ever existed. All the way around it might be better that way.
