Second Chances

by

I would like to dedicate this little story to the on line TG comics that inspired me. Comic sites such as Venus Envy, Xanny's Curse, The Wotch, Lean On Me, From Here to Forth and EL GOONISH SHIVE

Spring time had come once again. It was the time of year that depressed Jeff more than any other. Even summer didn't depress him as much as he did when he stood and the cashier ring up the purchases before him of a woman in a hot pink bikini and match spike heels. All he could do is sighed and wished he had such a figure when he was a teenager in school.

"She does have a nice body, doesn't she?" said a man buying beer after she left the area.

"Why me," Jeff muttered to himself. "The guy wouldn't probably call me fag right now if I wore my girl's clothes to shop."

Jeff was glad to get home from the market. He went straight to his room; dropped on his bed and slipped his black sneakers off to reveal that his feet were coated in black nylons. He wiggled his toes and felt like they could use a good soaking in warm water.

A knock came at the door. "Jeff?" his mother called. "Are you okay, honey?"

"Find, mom." Jeff said as he swung his legs to the other side of the bed so not to show his pink toes or stockings if she entered. He rolled up his pants legs and pulled off his knee hi.

"You're dad and I now going out to dinner," She replied without opening the door more than a crack. "You sure you don't want to come with us?"

"I'm sure."

Jeff watched out his bed room window as the car pulled out of the driveway and drove off. He then went into the bathroom and used his new razor to remove what little hair had grown on his body since he last shaved. Climbing into the tub, he found the soothing water so relaxing.

When he returned to the bedroom he held his towel up above his chest. "If only I had real breasts so the towel would look better when worn." He thought as he went and got his breast forms and a bra from his dresser. "Just glad I'm trusted to clean my own room and doing my own laundry."

The sound of his sandals clicked across the tile of the kitchen while his breast forms bounce with his movement to the washer and dryer. Besides his tee shirts, shorts and work uniforms, he also washed his pantyhose, skirts and blouses. As well as a one piece bathing suit.

"What I wouldn't give to have a figure that would look nice in a bikini." Jeff said as he stood before a mirror and held the bathing suit before him. He dropped to his knees with tears running down his face. "I am not just some freak."

"We're home!" Jeff's dad called out from the front door. His mother set her purse on the counter and head into her bed room the connected the laundry room. He mother and father froze when they saw Jeff on his knees with a one piece that wasn't his mothers in his hands. "What is this?"

"I know those aren't real breasts." His mother said in a confused tone. "You didn't have them when you went to work today."

"This is who I am," Jeff said as he stared down at the floor. He couldn't bring himself to look his parents in their faces. "I was trying to bring myself the courage to E-mail a little letter to all those in my computer address book. This is who I am."

"The boy you were born is who you are!" Jeff's dad screamed as his mom put his hand on her husband's shoulder and shook her head.

"Jeff, have you decided on a girl's name for yourself?" She asked.

"Jane." Jeff said with sniffles.

"Okay, Jane." His mother said with a smile. "How about you changed into one of your blouses and skirts and we'll go out for some ice cream while your father tries to come to terms with what just learn.

"A mother/ daughter outing like I always wanted?" Jeff asked.

"That's right." She smiled sweet. "I'll even help you fix your face. Your tears are making your make up run."

"So tell me more about this." Jeff's mother said as pulled into the parking lot of the town's ice cream shop and got out of the car. "How long have you felt this way?"

"Since I was a little…eh… girl." Jeff thought a moment. "I started dressing when I was around 8 and you started allowing me to help out around the house with laundry and such. My allowance money I spent on my clothes until I was old enough to work and make my own money."

"Is it just the thrill of wearing the clothes?" his mother asked.

"No it's not just the clothes." Jeff confessed. "You have no idea what it's like to look at a guy and wish you were beautiful enough to have him like you back."

"Yes I do." She said sweetly. "I was a young woman myself once."

"Thanks for understanding." Jeff said walking backwards across the parking lot so that he could face his mother. He didn't have time to react to a driven driver than swung into the lot, only to plow straight over him.

"Jane!" Jeff's mother scream was silenced put by the slicing of metal into flesh and bone.

"Mother!" screamed Jeff. He noticed his voice was much higher than before. When he touched his throat, he found had Adam's apple gone.

"Welcome, Jane." A voice seemed to come from every at once and nowhere in particular. "Welcome to Heaven."

"Here some hate groups thought that people like me didn't get in." Jane said as she stood beside a tree in an empty field of grass that stretched on in all directions. She couldn't see anyone or anything that stated civilization in sight.

"They do get in if they've been good in their hearts and their souls." The voice boomed. "The truth is that there has been a mistake made."

"Mistake?" asked Jane. "I'm not going to Hell, am I?"

"No dear, you're not." The voice said. "That drunk driver was suppose to kill a homeless man whose time had come. Somehow instead, you were run over instead. Now you are going back. You're not going back as Jeff, but as Jane. You're parents won't remember you're little talk or that you were ever a boy to begin with."

With that, Jane felt like she was hit in the gut and had all the wind knocked out of her. An invisible arm grabbed Jane from behind and pulled her into a void of nothingness.

"Jane!" Jane's mother screamed. She watched as the truck swing and just missed the young girl and smashed a drunken homeless guy into a red splattering of blood and guts. Jane's mother grabbed hold of her and hugged her close. "You've got to be more careful dear. Even though you're a teenager now I still worry."

"Teenager," thought Jane as she got into the car with her mother.

She used the passenger visor's make up mirror to check her face. She noticed a beautiful 14 year old Jr. High school girl starring back instead of a 23 year old college boy. She was a girl who would look good in a bikini in this summer. She also notice that she was now blonde instead of brunette.

She turned toward her mother and smiled. "I can't think of a mother/ daughter outing I've enjoyed more than this one."

"You enjoy the ice cream, honey?" Jane's dad asked without looking up from behind the newspaper. The date on the paper told her it was no longer spring time but the fall. The headline across the top of the paper mentioned that school was starting in morning.

"It was the best." Jane smiled as she went to her room and slipped into a pair of panties and a night shirt that barely covered them. She didn't know if she loved not having falsies on her chest or nothing between her legs no other woman has best.

The next day she found the alarm had been set much earlier than when she was a man. She had though it was all a dream at first, but the weight on her chest and a glance beneath her night shirt proved other wise.

Jane never enjoyed a bath more and noticed while in the tub that she was starting her first period. A mess she had to clean up before heading off for her first day of a new year of school on the first day of a new life. She was just glad she was use to applying make up and putting on a bra.

"I got this little gift for your first day dear." Jane mother opened a package to reveal a cute necklace with a little rabbit pendant on it. The rabbit was dress like the one from the old Alice in Wonderland book. Jane figured it was a good sign as she was about to enter a wonderland of womanhood.

"Thanks, mom," said Jane. As she walked out the door to catch the school bus she never thought she would ever feel as stuff between her legs as she did wearing a tampon. The cramps where bad, but worth it in her mind as she wondered if she'd make the cheer leader squad during try outs.

"You ready for cheerleading practice?" A red headed girl asked in a pink T-shirt with purple skirt and white sneakers.

"Practice?" asked Jane puzzled. All Jane knew is that in her new reality that she must be a friend.

"I know you think you're among the best, but I'm still captain." The red hair girl said as a Brunette ran over. "Hey, Susan!"

"Anne!" Susan said as the girls gave one another a hug. Jane had to rub her eyes and blink when a drop pencil floated to Anne's hand just like the character from the TG comic strip, The Wotch. Only in this reality she truly seemed to have the powers for real. She just hope that if she sees any squiral girls or girlish guys with big glasses and a ray gun that might be able to change her back into a guy that she avoids them.

Jane never enjoyed school more than she did that day. She also loved how her figure looked in the blue crop top and mini skirt cheer leading outfit. As the man she was, she was clumsy and never very athletic. In her new body; however, she couldn't believe how flexible she was. She truly had a great life to look forward to with a family that loved her.

THE END
