A Scouting Family
By Patti
Jill was running late for her meeting, but knew that Jim would have things started in her absence. She just couldn't get done with her meeting with the Bank in time to get to the 5 o'clock Scout meeting. This was a "Planning Meeting" for the Annual Banquet, which for the first time would be held in conjunction with the Tom-Boy Scouts Organization. Jim, her husband, was her Assistant Scout Leader, for Local Troop 122, of the Girl-Boy Scouts Organization. Her two sons, Jeff and Tom, were members in the Troop, and her other son Dean, was a member of the Pastel Scouts. Jim had left the boys at home, with the two older boys, who were twins, in charge of the younger. Jim had left the Salon, which he and Jill owned, and went right to the Scout Lodge, which was the "Home" of the Tom-Boy Scout Troop 54. When he arrived there, he was greeted by Gayle Smith, the Tom-Boy Scout Leader, and her Assistant, Sue Richards.
While Jill and Jim owned and ran the local Beauty Salon, "Kuts & Kurls", Gayle and Sue were partners in "S&R Construction, General Contractors". Gayle was married, and had two daughters and a son. The daughters, Wanda and Tracey were members of the Tom-Boy Scouts, and their little brother was a member of the Pastel Scouts, with Dean Miller, Jim and Jill's son. Patti, Gayle's husband, worked as the Secretary/Office Manager for the Construction Company. Sue was divorced, and she and her daughter didn't associate with Joe, Sue's ex-husband, and Ann's father.
It was amazing to see how these two Organizations had grown over the last five years, when they both first were established. The local Girl-Boy Scout Troop had a total of 33 Members, while the local Tom-Boy Scout Troop boasted a membership of 71 members. It seemed that it was harder for boys to be part of a "Feminine" Organization, than for a Girl to be part of a "Masculine" Organization . However, as time has gone on, membership throughout the country for the Girl-Boy Scouts had now grown to over 700,000 Boys, while the Tom-Boy Scouts has dwarfed that number, with membership of over 2,000,000 Girls! In contrast, the younger age groups have grown a little closer in membership numbers. The Pastel Scouts now boast a membership nationwide of over 250,000 Boys, while the Cheetah Scouts have a membership of over 500,000, and the Daisy Scouts have a membership of over 350,000, with the Jaquars having a membership of over 550,000; so the numbers are getting closer! All together, they now have a membership of over 4,350,000 Boys and Girls in these "Role-Reversed" Organizations, and they are now growing faster than their "Traditional" rivals, the Boy and Girl Scouts!!!! On this particular day, Jim got to the meeting, and was offered a seat at the Conference table, in the Lodge. Sue, dressed in her jeans, flannel shirt and work boots, pulled out a chair for Jim, who was dressed in his Navy Turtleneck body shirt, Side Zip navy slacks, navy nylons with black patent leather slip-ons, which matched his black patent leather purse. As he sat down, he thanked Sue for her courtesy. Gayle and Sue started the meeting, telling Jim that the Lodge would be able to accommodate the two groups, and that the Banquet could be catered by Zim's Catering service, which was owned by parents of two of the Girl-Boy Scout members, Laura and Jack Zim. Both Organizations agreed that the protocols would be followed, that everyone attend in their Uniforms, and a night of Awards would be followed by a Dance, which music would be provided by Matz's DJ's, a relative of one of the Tom-Boy Scout members.
While they were discussing this, Jill and Patti, with Scott arrived. Jill was hurrying in, and almost slipped in her heels as she was rushing in the door. Luckily, Patti caught her before she fell. Jill ended up getting a run in her pantyhose though, as her knee hit the doorway as Patti was catching her. She was dressed in a sweater and mini-skirt outfit, with black pumps. Patti sympathized with her, telling her that he hated when he would bump into something and run his pantyhose! Gayle and Sue rolled their eyes as Patti, Jim and Jill talked about the "Dilemmas" of getting runs in their pantyhose, a garment that Gayle and Sue vowed to never, ever wear again! In the midst of all this, cute little Scott came running over to his mother, still dressed in his leotard and tights from dance class, which Patti was bringing him from. He said hi to his Mom, and gave her a kiss. Gayle asked how his dance class was, and he answered that it went well. He said that another boy from his Pastel Troop joined, which now brought a total of seven boys to the class of twelve - they now outnumber the girls! Scott in his Dance Outfit
The final preparations were discussed, and everyone headed home. Jill and Jim came in the house, and the three boys were waiting for them to go for their aerobics night at their local health club. It was Scout night, and all the guys and leaders got together at 7 o'clock for their hour of exercise.
Jeff was dressed in his new hunter green leotard with matching green tights and white leg warmers, which matched his white aerobic shoes. Tom had on his tan leotard with white tights and tan leg warmers, with his white aerobic shoes. Dean was adorable in his pink leotard with pink tights, and white leg warmers and white aerobic shoes; this was the outfit he wanted to match his mom's pink outfit, which she was now changing into, while Jim was changing into his navy leotard with matching tights with navy leg warmers. The family all had their long hair pulled back into ponytails, held in place with scrunchies that matched their outfits, then they all grabbed their purses and gym bags, and they were off to the gym, to dance with the other scouts! Another Scout Leader
After a good night of exercise, the Claybornes talked about their participation in the Girl-Boy Scouts, and how they thought it was a much better way of life, than the traditional stereotypes of males and females. The twins, who were now 15, related how they much preferred the feminine lifestyle they now lead, over the Macho behavior they once tried to emulate. They recalled how they once were top players on their Little League teams when they were nine years old, in the 4th Grade. But now they are much happier watching Girls play sports, while they get to be pretty, with wearing makeup and trying new hairstyles, and getting to wear pretty, Exciting clothing, instead of DULL pants everyday! Dean said how he couldn't wait for the Little League Season to start so he could compete for the Little League Queen Title, which now due to pressure, is opening up for Boys to compete for this year. After all, Jeff interjected, it is only right that boys get to compete for Queen since half the players are now Girls!
After talking for a while, the family all got their showers, then put on their nighties and went to bed. As Jim crawled into bed next to Jill, he slipped his hand up her leg to feel the lace trimed nylon panties under her nightie. Jill reached over to feel Jim's leg and discovered that he was wearing a garter belt and stockings with his baby-doll nightie! She said to him playfully, "Isn't it hard to believe that the star Quarterback from our high School Football team is now a Pretty-Boy hairdresser, Assistant Girl-Boy Scout Leader, with three pretty sons, who all LOVE to be Feminine, and is now married to the head Cheerleader! And didn't I tell you, if we got married, our children would need to be Cheerleaders? I'm so glad that you see that the Feminine lifestyle is great, and that our sons prefer that way of life! We have a lot more work to do with the Scouts, don't you agree?"
