A guy in collage tries to cast a spell he found in an old book. But it goes horribly wrong, and now things are out of his control...
Real Spell
by Jennifer White
As Logan looked through the pile of dusty books in the rare book store, one caught his eye. He was trying to complete his degree, and he needed to find some research materials. But the school library was woefully inadequate when it came to rare books. So he had been hunting around used book stores, looking for something from the 1600's, which might help his quest for knowledge. Then he could complete his paper, and be ready to graduate.
He bought the dusty old volume, and walked back to his dorm room, which he shared with another guy name Jayden. Logan was very glad that the year was almost over; he could hardly stand Jayden anymore. As often happens with college roommates, they had a falling out. And the falling out was over a girl.
Logan had met Jenna first, and in his mind, she was *his*. He had even brought her over to meet Jayden before they went out on their third date together. He had wanted to show her off to his roomie. But it turned out that she hit it off so well with him, that soon *he* was dating her, and Logan was on the outs. It infuriated him to know that Jayden was now sleeping with her, while he was home alone in his dorm, catching up on his studies.
Logan sighed, and opened up the old book. With it's archaic Middle English, it was slow going. It was English, but it was structured more like German, and there were many words that related to a modern root word, yet were different. He dug through it, and hoped to find the type of information he needed for his paper.
As he read into it though, a shiver came over him. The book wasn't an historical document after all. Instead, it purported to be a book of magic spells! It claimed that by doing exactly as instructed and making the correct intonations, one could summon the spirits, and perform feats of great magic.
Ah, old superstitions. Just what he needed for his paper! He continued to read on, and see how the chapters broke down. There were all sorts of odd spells, such as one that was supposed to make a neighbor's oxen get sick. Or one to make a well go dry.
Logan turned the page, and found that the next chapter had to do with love spells. Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind: he could make Jenna love him again! But then he decided against that. She had ditched him. He didn't want her anymore. She had been with Jayden. She was damaged goods. He'd never go out with her again.
Logan read the next spell, as he took notes. As he read the words, he decided that he must have made a mistake in his translation. He just could not believe the subject of the spell. He doubled checked his work, then looked at the description again. He still could not believe it. It read:
Know then, that when this spell is cast upon a mortal man, the body
he does occupy will not the same be. The body of a woman shall he have, and weak
in spirit shall he be. The caster of this spell, the desire of her eye will become.
He read the details, translating as he went. This spell claimed it could turn a man into a woman, and make her fall in love with the caster of the spell! An evil thought stirred in Logan's heart. What if it was real? What if it did work? He could try the spell himself, putting it upon Jayden.
What a fitting punishment that would be! Jayden would become a girl! And *she* would be madly in love with him. A weak spirited woman, who only wanted him. He could do whatever he wanted to Jayden as revenge for stealing Jenna away from him!
Besides, this was a research project. What kind of student would he be, if he failed to at least test out the book to see if it was real or not? It wasn't like there were any neighbors with oxen to pass a disease onto, or any wells to run dry. No, the love spell was his best bet. And Jayden was the perfect target.
The book said that you needed to have a personal effect of your own, and one for the person you are casting the spell on. Logan looked around the room. He saw the piles of clothes that they hadn't put away, after having done the wash. He took out a pair of white boxers from his pile, and a pair of black ones from Jayden's. White for good (him), and black for evil (Jayden).
Now it was time to get started on the intonation. He read the words aloud, following the instructions for the gestures he was supposed to make. He used a very dramatic voice as he first called for the attention of the spirits, and then asked their help. The intonation explained to the spirits what was needed. Now he was ready for the final step, to use the personal objects, so that there would be something tying the magic to the particular people.
The text in the book used the term "bride" to refer to the one who would become a woman, and the term "groom" for the one who would become the man. First was the invocation of the groom's object. Logan picked up the black boxers. Black for the groom. He said the intonation, which translated roughly to "The groom shall be powerful over his bride. His word is the law to her. With just a word, he can make her do his will."
Next he picked up the white boxers. White, for the bride. Now he said the words for the bride, which roughly translated to "The bride shall be powerless before the man. To serve him is her life. Her will is gone; only his drivers her mind. To please her groom is her only thought. When she lays eyes on him, she shall become his."
Now there was one last thing: touch the two objects together, ask the spirits again for their help, then to thank them, and praise them for their power and their willingness to help. There. It was done. The spell was cast.
Logan laughed out loud. What a joke. It couldn't be real. But now he had tried, so he could write it up in his report. He took the boxers, and put them back in the piles of clothes. The white ones were his, and the black ones were Jayden's.
Suddenly, he felt a shiver as he realized something: he had used them backwards in the rite! He was supposed to have used his, the white ones, for the groom. But he had gone black for the groom, and white for the bride! He had mixed up the colors, and cast the spell on himself! It was a good thing that it wasn't real, or else he would be in for real trouble.
Logan laughed again. How superstitious of him to have been like that! He needed to get his report done. He turned back to his homework, and started to write it out.
An hour later, he decided that he needed a break. He went back to proofread. He started doing that, but he thought it was strange: the writing at the start of the report was a lot smaller and messier than the writing towards the end. It was also a lot harder to read the writing at the beginning. Maybe he had been rushing too much?
He flipped back to the last page, where the writing had become very neat and organized. It was bigger, and a lot loopier. But then something caught his eye: some mindless doodling in the margin. There was a figure in the shape of a heart, along with the words "Mrs. Jayden Fox".
Where had that come from? Why in the world would he have writing *that* down? It looked like the kind of thing a schoolgirl with a crush would have done. He *really* needed a break. All this thinking about the spell must have made his mind a little flaky. He needed a drink of water. He got up, and walked to the bathroom.
Logan drank the water, then put the cup down. His eyes caught sight of himself in the mirror, and he froze. It was his eyes. They looked so blue! His eyes were brown, but now the looked blue! And they seemed bigger now, with soft round ovals.
Then there was his nose. It looked smaller. His cheeks seemed different; were his cheek bones more prominent? He touched his face, and he was shocked; his skin felt soft to him. Like a girl's skin.
"I really need to pluck my eyebrows" he said out loud.
Logan heard his voice, and couldn't believe it either. It sounded higher in pitch than it should be. With the changes in his face, and the change in his voice, he realized what was happening: the spell was *real*, and *he* was becoming a girl. A girl! Him!
Logan felt a chill all over. No! This couldn't be true! He couldn't be turning into a girl! That was the worst thing in the world! Logan wanted to be *with* a girl. He didn't want to *become* one! And not one who would swoon over Jayden! He hated Jayden!
Now Logan felt a complete and total panic. He lifted up his sweater, to see if his body was changing too. He was aghast when he found that his chest was nearly hairless now, and that there were two small mounds on his chest. They were shaped almost like cones, and slightly upturned. He was starting to grow breasts! No!!!! His nipples looked so big now too, along with the ring of color around them, which had grown at least three times as wide. He needed a bra already.
As he saw himself in the mirror, he felt an urge to put on lipstick, so his lips could look fuller. He would need some mascara too. His eyes looked too plain. Maybe one of the other girls down the hall would have some he could borrow. Logan wanted to look pretty when Jayden returned.
Logan tore his eyes from the mirror. He didn't want think like that! Those were *female* thoughts, not *his* thoughts.
"Don't think like that!!" he said out loud, but then he heard his voice sounding even higher in pitch.
He hurried over to the book, and tried to read it to see if there was a way to cancel the spell, and to set it back. He tried to read, but every time he saw the word "love", his mind got distracted, thinking of Jayden. He started to run his fingers through his long hair, and twirled it around as he thought about Jayden.
Long hair??!!! He didn't have long hair! He hurried to the mirror, and he was crushed when he saw how much further the transformation had come along. He looked more female than male now. His face looked *pretty* now. And while he looked smaller, making his sweater looser fitting on him, the mounds on his chest had grown alarmingly. No longer did they look like the breasts of a young schoolgirl; now they looked more mature, more fitting for a girl in college, like him.
Like him? He wasn't a college girl! Why did he keep having these *female* thoughts? In his panicked head, he realized that not only was his body being reshaped by the spell, but so was his mind. Soon, he would be thinking completely like a girl.
As Logan stared into the mirror, he noticed more things. His hands looked so small now, his fingers so long and thin. The nails at the end of them had become longer, and the magic had even seen to covering them with cherry red nailpolish. Seeing his hand like that really freaked him out!
But it wasn't just his body that was changing; how he noticed that his clothes were changing too. The sweater he wore had been baggy on him a few moments ago. But now it was becoming tighter, softer, and changing color to white. And the blue jeans he was wearing had been changing too. They were getting shorter, while the fabric around his legs was fusing together, becoming one single tube.
As he watched, his jeans had become a *skirt*. A skirt that was getting shorter and shorter, to reveal more and more of his long, smooth, shapely legs. The skirt was starting to push out in back, as his rear end was reshaped to match that of a girl. Alarmingly, the color of the skirt was changing now too; going from blue denim, to red plaid. A schoolgirl's skirt.
Logan jumped back with a start when he felt something on his torso, that seemed to wrap around him and grab him. He pulled up his sweater, to see that a bra had formed on his chest, cupping and surrounding his breasts, which were *still* getting bigger. The straps went over his shoulders now, and he felt them pulling, as they supported the weight on his chest.
A sense of arousal enveloped him, as he looked at the sexy young woman in the mirror, holding up her sweater. How could that be him? He didn't look anything like himself anymore; he didn't look anything like a boy! He pulled down his sweater, then pulled up his skirt to inspect what was going on down there.
His boxers had changed. Now they were frilly white panties. They laid flat against him in the front. Flat! He didn't have anything poking out between his legs anymore! Now he only had a the lips of his labia, which were visible under his tight panties.
He *was* a girl now. Logan had become a college girl!
"I'm so pretty" said Logan in his completely transformed voice. "Jayden will just love me!"
He had sounded so perky as he said that! It was terrifying that words like that were coming out of his mouth. He looked at his mouth. The way his lips seemed so much fuller now, so luscious. He noticed that cosmetics had magically appeared on his face, just as the nailpolish had on his fingers.
As he looked around the room, his other possessions were also changing. The clothes in his pile now consisted of bras, panties, skirts and blouses instead of boxers, T-shirts and pants. His notebook had turned pink. His poster of Jessica Simpson had become one of Keith Urban. He rushed to the bathroom, and saw that his shaving kit had become a makeup kit. There was even a box of tampons on the shelf. No!
Logan stared at himself in the mirror again, completely transformed. But something was wrong. His lipstick. It was kind of worn out, and needed to be touched up. He reached over to his makeup bag, pulled out the tube, and touched up his lips.
"Much better" he said.
Logan returned to the desk, and went back to work on the report. She needed to get her homework done before Jayden got back, because she wanted to make out with him, not sit there and work on a stupid paper. So she put her head down, and worked hard to complete the last page of her big report.
She shut her book, and clutched it tight to her chest, as she thought of Jayden, and how handsome he was.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Jayden himself walked in.
"Who are you?" he said, shocked to see a hottie chick waiting for him in his room.
"Who do you want me to be?" she said.
"Tell me your name" said Jayden. "What's your name?"
"Whatever you want it to be, lover" she replied, licking her lips.
"Okay, how about Erin?" he said, feel aroused by her.
"Then my name is Erin" she replied.
The spell was working on Jayden too, although he didn't know it. Part of the spell was to make the two lovers. In fact, Erin was exactly Jayden's ideal woman, in every way. He felt as drawn to her, as she was to him.
"I love you" said Erin. "Come here, and kiss me. I want you."
Jayden couldn't refuse a request like that! He walked over, and sat beside her, putting his arm around her. Inside Erin was thrilled! This was everything she wanted so much! She opened her mouth, and kissed him hard. Soon his hand was exploring her body, and she was receptive to his touch, letting him do whatever he wanted.
Jayden put his hand on her smooth thigh, and he moved it up to the special spot between her legs. Erin just melted. She wanted Jayden so much, and she wanted him now! Soon, she was pulling off her panties, and spreading her legs wide open for him.
"I want you in me" she said. "Take me. I'm yours."
"Oh yeah" he said.
"I want to have your babies" thought Erin, as he put himself into her. She moaned with pleasure, as he started to push himself in and out of her.
Erin was mindlessly in love with Jayden now. She was like a slave to him, and she would do *anything* he wanted. Her life was devoted to him now, and serving his every need. With every orgasm she experienced, the little bits of maleness within her mind evaporated. By the time Jayden came inside her, she had completely forgot that she had ever been a guy named Logan. All she knew now was her female self, and her love for Jayden.
The spell was complete now, as the two were deeply in love. Erin didn't yet know it, but inside her body, one of Jayden's sperms had already fertilized the egg her body had produced. It wouldn't be for a few more months that she would discover that she was pregnant.
This would not be her only time having a child with him. In fact, all six of her children would turn out to be girls, like her. As Erin laid there, in Jayden's arms, she was dreaming of being his wife, and spending her life loving him. She would soon have her wish.
