New Holly Potter

"Shall we go?" Sirius said as he singled the Knight Bus. Holly got her trunk and wizard supplies and quickly boarded the bus with the others. The ride was as wild and crazy as Holly had remembered when she rode it as Harry Potter. The bus with change shape and size as it needed to get around buildings and cars until it reached Ron's house.
Holly was let off and the bus continued on toward the Hogsworth school of witchcraft and wizardly. When Holly walked in, Ron snickered at his best friend's new look. His mother rushed over to look at her and gave her a welcome kiss. 'I'm so happy to have you staying with us, my dear."
Hermione shook her head and walked over to Holly. "Looks like you need my help again."
"What-?" Was all Holly got to say as Hermione pointed her wand at Holly's face and said: "Facious Repair-o."
"What did you do?" Holly asked, afraid to look in the mirror. She was afraid to see a boys face on a girl's body looking back at him.
"It's just a little spell use witches use to repair one's make up when it's a mess." Hermione said as she held up a mirror to see that Holly face and hair was no longer a mess from the bus ride. "You do make a pretty girl?"
"Thanks." Holly blushed. When she was Harry, she had feelings toward her female best friend. Now she didn't know what she should feel toward her house's genius. "I'm just glad we'll be roommates in the girl dorm. It makes me feel better being with someone in on my little secret."
"A pleasure to show you the ropes of womanhood," giggled Hermione. "Let's just hope you can handle your new center of gravity well enough on a broom to get back your place of Seeker."
"That's right." Holly realized. "Gryffindor house doesn't have a seeker now that Harry Potter is dead."
Ron just giggled again until his mother slapped him across the back of the head. "Sorry, mum."
"Too right, you're sorry." His mother said. "Holly, don't let Fred and George talk you into giving them any more of your personal money for their joke shop. "They'll either succeed or fail on their own."
Holly nodded to show she understood. Hermione then produced letters showing the books which they'd need for their new years of classes. "Only one play we're going to get them."
"Right-O." Ron's mother said as she held her own daughter up against her. "I love my boys, but it's nice to have another girl in the house. I think I know just the outfit that would be prefect for shopping."
Holly was used to Ron's mother fussing over her from before the change. She felt more like her personal play thing as she took Hermione and Holly upstairs and help Holly changed into a pretty pleated skirt and frilly blouse that Ron's mom wore when she was Holly's age.
"You were right, she does look lovely." Hermoine agreed. "Holly has to get use to skirts anyway. She may be able to get away with jeans during trips to Hogsmeade weekends and after classes, but she'll have to wear skirt that goes with school uniform during classes."
The rest of the day Holly was getting use to shopping as a girl. Beside her books, she felt like she hit every clothes and jewelry store there was to hit in the alley. She soon had enough of a proper wardrobe to take with her to school.
On Hogsworth's Express, most of the seats were taken as usual. Ron and Hermione had go with the Prefects, but Holly and Ron's sister was able to find a spot with only Luna Lovegood of Ravenclaw inside it. "Hello, Harry." Luna said in a soft enough voice that even Holly barely heard her.
"What did you say?" Holly asked in surprise.
"Thought I was right,' Luna said with a smile. She held up a copy of The Quibbler that read:
MINISTRY OF MAGIC LIES. HARRY POTTER LIVES.
"My dad and I figured you'd try something to try to keep the school safe from attacks while you finish your education." Luna smiled. "When we heard of a new transfer student; that suppose to be dead, I figured it would be you."
"Don't worry." Luna smiled. "Your secret is safe. Even though my dad prints the truth, nobody believes the stories any more than Muggles do those stories in super market check out lines."
"Thanks." Holly said with some relief.
"The one you have to worry about now is Malfroy." Luna said as she returned to reading The Quibbler. "The Slytheran house has a bet going on who can get the new girl to go out with one of them first. That's girl's you dear."
"Great." Holly thought. "A year of being hunted by skirt chasing idiots."
"Being a girl isn't that bad," Ron's sister said. "You'll see."
