The New Fantasy 9

by

"Is it true?" Janet asked with a smile on her face. "Am I really having a daughter?"

"That's that the test show so far." Dr. Smith said as he put down his clipboard. "I hope you're happy."

"I can't tell you how much it means to me." Janet said as she put her hand to her stomach. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the disappointment on her husband, Justin's face. "Having a girl means more to me than anything."

With the help of her family, Janet soon had the kid's room painted pink and set with all kind of feminine items and a special lace trim cradle. The pillow was made of silk for extra softness.

During her baby shower she got even more dolls and feminine items for the kids. Justin thought he'd drown in all the pink he found himself surrounded by. Her worst fear was realized when she was six months along. A sound-a-gram of her belly had the doctor approach Jane. He checked the pad and the monitor.

"I'm sorry Janet," He said sadly. "There was a mistake and it appears you're having a boy after all."

Tears filled Janet's eyes as her body began to quiver and shake. When the doctor got close enough, she grabbed him by the tie and her tears turn to a fire fury in her eyes. "Dr. Smith, my husband must never know about this. You understand…never!"

When the day of the birth happened Justin was surprise to be asked by his wife to remain in the waiting room instead of helping with their delivery as they practiced. When the boy was born, special team of doctors were standing by. Before Justin had a chance to see his son, sex reassignment surgery gave birth to daughter Kelly

Kelly grew to be a lovely and happy young lady. Being part of one of the richest families in the state, she wanted for nothing. Being a friendly and helpful girl attending public school, she had many friends.

When invited to slumber party she felt like Barbie's little sister as almost all her outfits; including pajama had some pink in it. Her problems didn't come around until Jr. High when most of her friends were already getting their periods and her father had died of cancer.

"Mom, is something wrong with me?" Kelly asked Janet. "All my friends are having periods and not me?"

"Now that you're 12 I guess I have no choice but to tell the truth." Janet said with fear in her trembling voice. "You see that you've born male like those hunks on the football team you like so much. I wanted a daughter so bad I had you altered the minute you were born."

"Mom, I can't picture myself as a man." Kelly said with a giggle that sent a surge of reassurance through her mother. "I would never want to be one. But my body will never be like the others will it?"

"Sure it will." Her mom smiled. "I can get your started on hormones for late blooming chest development. You'll even experience cramps and bloating like the real girls though, I'm afraid."

"It's a smile price to be considered a real girl." Kelly smiled and hugged her. "I love you mom."
