Lisa’s Fun Continues

by Lisa Skye

Janis had gotten the out-of-state office running smoothly for now, and had come back to settle things up at her house. Then she and her daughter Lisa - who until recently was her son Robin - would be moving. Lisa was staying with Janis’s friend Jenny right now, where Lisa was , well, born.

Janis hoped to get there before the party ended. Lisa had become friends with a girl who was in beauty pageants, and then met her friends, and they were now throwing Lisa a goodbye party. Fancy dress, of course!

While Janis wasn’t wearing a long gown like the girls would be wearing, she did have on a beautiful silk dress that was just dripping with lace. She couldn’t be dressed plainly for her new daughter’s first fancy dress party!

She had to laugh at herself for that thought. While she loved it herself, she couldn’t get over how quickly her son had transformed into a girl. And not just any girl either, but an extremely feminine girl. Nothing but silky dresses and silky, lacy lingerie. Not only that, but Lisa was already so good with make-up you’d think she went to cosmetology school. But then again, her new friends were all beauty pageant contestants so maybe that was to be expected.

Jenny let her in and she was quickly surrounded by a lovely group of girls in gorgeous gowns. As she was meeting Lisa’s friends in the living room her eyes fell on a cute little trophy in the middle of the coffee table. Lisa notice her gaze and brought over the trophy with a giggle.

"Read the inscription, Mom," she said. Janis read aloud "To our good friend Lisa - the prettiest boy there could ever be!" The girls all giggled as she read it.

"We do think of Lisa as a girl," they said, "but it was still funny."

"It’s a shame she’s moving when we just met her though," someone said.

"Hmmm," Janis said. "Don’t you young ladies go to pageants in other states? You can always stop and visit us! Lisa, make sure you get everyone’s address and number in here," she said, handing her a new little pink phone book that said "Lisa’s Friends!!" on the cover.

"Oh cool, Mom. Do you have our new address and number to give them?"

"Of course, sweetie," Janis answered, and pulled out a small packet. Little pictures of Lisa with her new address and phone number printed on the back.

"Hey, these are really neat, Mrs. Kensley!" said Tanya. "I think I’ll see if my mom will get some of me."

All the girls got a picture and then Jenny said with a grin, "Where’s mine? Don’t forget, I discovered Lisa!"

"For that you get two!" Janis said laughing.

"At least!" Lisa added. "Hey, does that make you my fairy godmother? You did turn me into a princess!"

"Awww, Lisa, you are just too sweet," Jenny said, giving her a big hug and kiss. "But I just found the princess hiding inside you, honey."

Pretty soon the girls’ moms came to pick them up and Lisa was bright red by the time they all gave her a goodbye kiss. "I haven’t kissed this many girls in my whole life! And everyone is so beautiful!" They all giggled at her.

"Take a look in the mirror Lisa!" one girl replied as she went through the door. Soon they were all gone.

"I’m really gonna miss them," Lisa said with a sigh.

"Don’t worry, honey, I’m sure you’ll find nice new friends. Let’s clean up from your party, and then we can load the car. Tonight you’ll sleep in your new house. Wail until you see your room. I hope you like it - I got some suggestions from Jenny."

"Okay, Mom. I guess we might as well get started."

After riding for several hours Lisa was a bit sleepy but she came wide awake when she saw her new bedroom.

"Oh my God!! Mom, this is so perfect!" She walked into her room, totally amazed. This was a completely feminine room. The walls were lavender, with the carpet and ceiling a lighter shade. There was a pink canopy bed with lacy ruffles. She even had her own make-up table with a lighted mirror! There were two dressers, glossy white with pink flower trim. A small lamp by her bed had a glass shade with pink roses on it.

"We still need to do some more shopping, Lisa, but take a peek in the closet or the dresser drawers. I picked up a few things."

Lisa, already thrilled beyond words, ran to her mom and hugged her without even looking. "Mom, this is just so amazing! I love it! I love you!"

"I love you, honey, you know that, no matter what." She gave Lisa a kiss and pushed a strand of hair from her eye. "And I’ve found that I love having a daughter. I guess it’s something I kind of missed and never even realized it. Now I have the sweetest daughter I could imagine!"

"Awww, Mom."

"It’s been a long day, so we’ll unpack tomorrow. There’s some nighties in the top drawer. Let me give you a quick tour of the house and you can go take a shower." After being shown around she found a lilac nightie in one drawer and matching panties and bra in another, and went for a shower.

Afterwards she went to the living room to watch some tv with her mom. She didn’t even make it through a whole show before starting to nod off.

"Come on, sleepy head. I think it’s time for bed." Lisa was led to her new room and was soon snuggled up in satin sheets in her pink canopy bed. Janis smiled down at her daughter, a cute little bundle of satin and lace. "Sweet dreams, honey."

When Lisa woke in the morning in her pretty pink bedroom she thought she was still dreaming. Her smile got even bigger as she came fully awake and realized she wasn’t dreaming. This was real! She was sleeping under lace-edged pink satin sheets in a pink canopy bed, in her very own pink and lavender girls’ bedroom! No boy clothes were in her closet or drawers. Just dresses, skirts and blouses, and lingerie. It was Heaven!

She found a white silky robe trimmed with lace, and slid it on over her lilac nightie before going down for breakfast. She found her mom in the kitchen and snuck up behind her for a surprise snuggle.

"Good morning, sweetie," her mom said, giving her a kiss. "You know what I was just thinking? We need a kitten."

"Oh cool, Mom! I’d love a kitten!"

"We can go look after breakfast. I haven’t had a cat for a little while. Makes the house complete," she said with a smile.

After breakfast Lisa stood up, saying "Now what shall I wear today?"

"Don’t worry about that, sweetie, I have something in mind already - as long as you don’t mind matching outfits."

"Cool, Mom!"

Janis led the way to her bedroom and opened her closet. "What do you think?" she said as she handed Lisa a skirt and blouse. The skirt was bright pink, several layers of a sheer silky material. The blouse was a very light blue silk, with lace at the collar and cuffs. Her mom’s outfit had the colors reversed.

"Oh, Mom, we are gonna be sooo cute!"

Janis smiled. "I’m glad you like them, honey. I think it’s kind of fun when we match."

"A lot more fun than when I was a boy! I’m so glad I’m a girl now, Mom. I never would’ve thought so before, but it’s sooo much better being a girl!"

"We’ll have to think up a really good way to thank Jenny. And I have to admit, I think I prefer you as a girl too. Girls are prettier, they smell nicer, and now I can buy you such lovely outfits."

Lisa gave her a great big hug. "Don’t worry about that Mom - I’m glad you prefer me as a girl, and I’ll be extra happy to let you buy me all the pretty clothes you want!"

"I’ll remember that, sweetie. Now go change so we can pick out a kitten and give it all day to get used to it’s new home."

"Okay, Mom," Lisa said and scurried away with her cute new outfit.

"Oh, they’re all so cute. Lisa, you’ll have to choose."

"Oooh, can we get a Siamese kitty, Mom? I really like them!"

"Like I said, Lisa, you choose. I think they’re all adorable."

"And look, this one already picked me!" She was pointing at a Siamese kitten that had separated from the others and was looking right at her. "That’s the one I want!"

Janis went for someone who worked there and in a moment Lisa was snuggling a cute little siamese kitten. "Aw Mom, she loves me!" Lisa exclaimed as the kitten snuggled back, purring. Lisa giggled.

Janis said, "We need to get her a litter box and a few other things, Lisa. They’ll keep her here til we’re done."

"Okay. Bye bye for now little cutie," Lisa said, as she put the kitten in a different cage. "Don’t you worry, we’ll be back in just a few minutes."

The kitten gave a little "mew" and curled up into a cute little ball for a nap.

"What should we name her, Mom?" Lisa asked as they went into the store.

"Hmmm, how about....Jasmine?"

"I like it! Sounds kinda right."

Janis went to find a litter box while Lisa went to pick out a collar. She found one the same shade of lilac as her bedroom walls and got that one. A younger girl was looking through the collars beside her.

"There’s so many I like - I can’t decide," the girl said.

"Let me ask you this," Lisa said, "does your cat have long hair or short?"

"Long hair - we have a Persian kitty."

"They’re pretty! Well, with long hair you should get a round collar so it doesn’t snag your kitty’s hair and pull it."

"Okay - thanks! I’ll get this one then. Our kitty has pure white fur and this will look pretty."

"I think so too."

"Bye - my name’s Tammy."

"Bye Tammy. I’m Lisa."

She found her mom and they went to the checkout counter. As they were picking up Jasmine the manager came up and introduced herself to them.

"I was watching your daughter help a younger girl pick out a collar, and I was impressed. If she’s interested and it’s okay with you, we could use some part time help for the summer."

"Wow," Lisa said, and Janis smiled at her. "It would be kinda neat, Mom, but...well, you know!"

"Yeah, I guess I do," she said. The manager looked at them, confused. "Let’s go over there, where we can talk a little more privately," Janis said, leading the way.

"Lisa is a very bright and sweet girl, Mrs. Braxley, but there’s just one thing you need to know - she’s really a boy."

"No way," she said. "She’s such a pretty girl." Lisa blushed bright red.

"It’s true. Until recently she was my son, but for a while at least, she’s my daughter."

"I never would have known. And neither did anyone else." She paused. "Well, think about it anyway. If you change your mind just let me know. As far as anyone here knows, she’s a girl. I’m fine with that and I’m sure the others will be too. Just think about it." She headed back to work.

"Come on, Lisa. Let’s take Jasmine to her new home."

Lisa held the carrier in her lap as they rode, petting the purring kitten with her fingertips. "It would be kinda fun I guess, but I don’t know. I think I’d be too nervous being ‘Lisa’ all by myself. I’ve never been alone in public like this. But I’ll think about it some anyway. What do you think?"

"That it’s up to you. Nothing wrong with thinking about it before deciding."

"Meerooow!" came from Jasmine’s carrier.

"I guess she agrees with you, Mom," Lisa said giggling. "But you really think it would be okay for me to do it? If I decided to, that is."

"Well, my guess is that most vets are nice to begin with, and Mrs. Braxley seemed quite nice. And most people are probably in a good mood going to a pet store, so it would be a nice atmosphere. So, yes, I think it would be perfectly alright for my daughter to work there," she said, smiling brightly at Lisa.

"I’ll think a little more, but I think right now I just might like to give it a try."

That afternoon they went to the supermarket for some grocery shopping. "This isn’t as fun as dress shopping," Lisa said.

"You can’t eat dresses, honey."

Just then a boy Lisa’s age came around the corner. "Wow, you’re cute!" he said, and Lisa blushed brightly. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Thank you, and no," she answered trying not to giggle.

"Really? As cute as you are?" He smiled. "I’m Jimmy."

"Hi, Jimmy. My name is Lisa."

"And I just happen to be available too!" Jimmy said.

Lisa laughed. "Sorry, but I’m not looking for a boyfriend. And trust me, I don’t think you’d want to go out with me anyway," she said, giggling.

A lady came around the corner. "There you are, Jimmy." She looked up and saw Lisa’s mom. "Oh my goodness - Janis! I haven’t seen you in ages!"

"Gladys! Hi!" The ladies hugged and started chatting

Jimmy looked back at Lisa. "Of course I would! I mean, unless you’re really a jerk or something - which I doubt - you’re about the cutest girl around here!"

"Um, don’t be too sure of that," Lisa said with a smile.

"I guess my memory is slipping," Gladys said, looking at Lisa. "I thought you had a son."

Still smiling at Jimmy, Lisa said, "Not anymore!"

Jimmy’s eyebrows shot up. "No way! You’re really a boy?"

"Yup," Lisa said, grinning.

"But you’re gorgeous!"

"Sorry, but I warned you that you wouldn’t like me."

"I didn’t say that - but I guess I wouldn’t want to go out with you."

"That’s fine - I still like girls myself anyways."

Jimmy laughed. "At least we have one thing in common."

Janis and Lisa told Gladys and Jimmy the story of how she came to be a girl. And both mother and daughter were pretty amazed that they didn’t seem to mind. Jimmy even had to interrupt at one point.

"A bunch of beauty queens? Even I might put on a dress to hang out there!" They all laughed.

Janis said to Gladys, "The girls will visit sooner or later. Should we hold him to that?" The mothers and Lisa laughed while Jimmy blushed. They finished the story.

Gladys looked at Lisa and smiled. "Well, if you’re both happy I guess that’s the important thing. And you are a very pretty young lady, Lisa."

"Really pretty!" Jimmy said. "Even if - well - you know," he said, blushing.

"Thanks, Jimmy, I know what you mean. And thank you, Mrs...uh?"

"Wyatt."

"Mrs. Wyatt."

"And such a nice young lady too," Gladys said. "Well, we both should finish our shopping. I’ll give you my number and be sure you give me a call later."

"Okay. I just had a thought. Why don’t you two come over for dinner tonight? You can be our first guests. And while you don’t have to get dressed up, Lisa surely will."

"Oooh, yeah, I can wear that new lavender dress! Please say you’ll come!"

"That sounds wonderful Janis. And I’m sure you’ll be lovely in lavender, dear. Bye bye for now," Gladys said. Jimmy waved goodbye.

"Bye Jimmy and Mrs. Wyatt."

"Bye for now, Gladys - I’ll call around four o’clock."

They were almost finished shopping by then, just needing a few odds and ends. Soon they were on their way home and Lisa was busy figuring out the accessories for her outfit.

"I was really surprised that Jimmy didn’t freak out, Mom," she said, suddenly changing the subject.

"Me too, honey. I would think most thirteen year old boys would. Or even kids a lot older."

"You know, I think it would be neat to be friends with a boy who was okay with me as Lisa. A little odd maybe, but neat."

"He seems nice and I’ve know his mom - Gladys - for a long time. She has always been a very warm and loving person. I guess Jimmy must take after her."

Once they got home they had to put the groceries away. Then Janis started to get dinner together and Lisa went to get started on her outfit.

First she had to redo her nails. They were pink now, but she had found a lavender that would match he dress perfectly. Toenails too, since she would be wearing open-toed high heels. She played with Jasmine while they dried, who was happy to chase around a stuffed pink mouse on a string!

Tucking her hair under a bandana she took a quick shower. Wrapped in a towel she went back to her room.

She didn’t have a lavender panty and bra set - yet - so she was going with a light pink. They were very silky and edged with lace. As she settled the padded, underwire bra in place, Lisa wondered if she’d always need padding. It did seem lately that she was filling them out a little more. Was it wishful thinking or was just wearing a bra all the time helping her grow into the correct shape?

She pulled on some sheer thigh high stockings, then reached for the slip. It was lavender silk, a slightly lighter shade than the dress, with lots of lace at the hem and bust. Dropping it over her head, she delighted in the smooth silk against her body. She had to preen in front of the full-length mirror and giggled at herself.

Dressed in lovely lingerie, she sat down at her make-up table. She went for a soft look, very subtle. You could hardly tell she was wearing make-up. Lisa smiled and winked at the pretty girl looking back from the mirror.

Next came the shoes. Lavender, the same shade as the dress. Three and a half inch stiletto heels. Open toe and an ankle strap. Cute and just a tiny bit sexy.

Now it was time for the dress. Lisa loved it and knew she had to have it as soon as she saw it. It was silk and a really pretty shade of lavender. It had long sheer sleeves that flared out at the wrists like bell-bottom jeans. The body of the dress was several layers so that it wasn’t see through, with a single sheer layer above the bust embroidered with purple flowers. The skirt was slightly longer in back, each layer edged with lace. The top layer was shortest, the longest ending just below the knee. It was gorgeous!

The only jewelry she wore was a pair of purple flower earrings that almost matched the flowers on the dress, and a small gold locket from her beauty pageant friends.

"Wow, honey, you are a little doll!" her mom said when she walked in the kitchen. "Now I have to change so I don’t look bad standing beside you," she said with a smile.

Before their guests arrived Janis changed into a lovely purple dress that went nicely with Lisa’s. They both smiled when they saw that Jimmy was wearing a lavender shirt.

Dinner was not quite ready so they went to the living room. Jasmine had to see the new people in her house and was soon loving all the attention she got. In fact, by the time dinner was ready, Jasmine was ready for a catnap.

When they went to the table Jimmy pulled Lisa’s chair out for her and blushed. "I keep forgetting you’re not a real girl -no offense intended."

"That’s okay," Lisa smiled. She whispered in his ear, "Just think of me as a boy lesbian!" and they both laughed. The mothers looked over at them and they laughed even harder.

As they ate the two mothers caught each other up on recent events. "And you’ll like it here," Gladys said. "It’s a nice area. I’m really glad you moved here though - several good friends have recently moved and it’s nice to have an old friend back in my life."

"Aww, that’s sweet Gladys. But it’s great for me that you’re here. It’s good to have at least one friend in a new place. And I don’t mean to embarrass you Jimmy, but you are a very nice young man. We were surprised at how well you took the truth about Lisa."

Jimmy blushed, just a little. "Mom says it not what you look like, but who you are that counts. Right, Mom?"

"That’s right, dear. But many people say those same words without acting that way. And your actions show that you really mean it. You make a mother proud." Now Jimmy blushed a lot. "You know, Lisa, I think there’s more girls around here than boys - maybe that will make it a little easier for you."

"Oh wow, wait til Lori meets you! She’s gonna love you, Lisa!" Jimmy said. "She says she wished boys looked like girls ‘cause girls are so much prettier. She said she didn’t think she could really go out with a girl, but a boy that looked like a girl would be nice."

"Sounds like I’d really like to meet her," Lisa said with a big grin.

"She only lives about a half a mile away from here," Jimmy said.

They were just finishing up dinner. "You think she’d like to come over while you’re here?" Lisa asked. "We could give her a call."

Jimmy looked at his mom and she said they would be there a while longer. Lisa took him to the living room and he called Lori. "Hi, it’s Jimmy. Yeah, that’s because I’m not at home. I’m about half a mile from your house. Right, where people just moved in. Are you doing anything? Well, come on over here then - There’s someone you’ll want to meet! Nope, no clues. Okay, see you soon. Bye."

He turned to Lisa. "She’ll be over in about fifteen minutes. This is gonna be fun!" He laughed again. "And don’t worry, you’ll like Lori. She’s really nice. But she always manages to pull things on me or trick me. But this time I’ll get her. So don’t say anything to give it away. You’re Lisa, that’s all she needs to know!"

"Okay. Is she cute?" Lisa asked with a grin.

"Oh yeah!" Jimmy said. "I mean, we’re just friends you know, but she is a doll! And she usually dresses really pretty."

"Let me go check my make-up," Lisa said. "Be right back!"

"Girls," Jimmy said, shaking his head and smiling.

When she came back they went out on the front porch. A few minutes later a car pulled up and dropped off a girl. She and Jimmy waved and he and Lisa went to meet her.

"Hi, Lori, this is Lisa."

"Hi new neighbor," Lori said with a warm smile.

"Hi, Lori. Wow, Jimmy, you were right. She is a doll!"

"Why thank you! And thank you Jimmy." She giggled. "Jimmy, I’ve never seen you that color red before."

"Lisa!"

"Oh, was that supposed to be a secret?" she giggled, with Lori joining in.

"Better watch out, Jimmy," Lori said. "You’re outnumbered, so we can pick on you."

"Hmm, you think so?" Jimmy said, trying not to laugh.

"Lisa, you’re on my side, right?" Lori asked, stepping beside Lisa and putting her arm around her.

"Oh, of course!" Lisa agreed, putting her arm around Lori’s waist.

"See, two against one, the girls outnumber you," Lori said, and stuck out her tongue at Jimmy.

Jimmy laughed. "If that’s how your adding up sides, you’re still wrong!" Lori looked confused and he gave Lisa a slight nod.

She smiled at Lori and whispered in her ear. "I’m still on your side, Lori - but I’m not really a girl!"

Jimmy almost fell over laughing as Lori twisted around to look at Lisa, eyes almost popping out as she said "huh?"

Lisa couldn’t help giggling herself. "Please don’t be mad at me, Lori. It was Jimmy’s idea not to tell you."

Lori smiled and winked at Lisa, and gave her arm a squeeze. She turned to Jimmy. "Okay, go mark it down on your calendar, Jimmy-boy - you finally got me!" She turned back to Lisa. "I don’t mean to be rude but I just have to ask - do you still like girls?"

"Oh yeah! Especially when they’re as gorgeous as you, Lori!"

"Cool!" The three talked for a few when Lisa’s mom called.

"Lisa - Jimmy and his mother will be leaving in a few minutes." Walking out the door she saw Lori.

"This is Lori, Mom. She lives pretty close by."

"Hi," Lori said.

"Hello, Lori. Why don’t you all come inside." Janis held the door as they entered, and Lisa led the way to the living room, taking Lori’s hand. Gladys smiled as Lisa led Lori into the room.

"Hello, Lori. I see you’ve met your new neighbor."

"Hi, Mrs. Wyatt." Lori blushed as she realized Jimmy’s mom saw her holding hands with Lisa.

"Oh, don’t be embarrassed, dear, I know all about Lisa. I used to see pictures of a little boy named Robin, even though we never met."

"That’s my ‘boy’ name," Lisa told Lori, scrunching up her face and sticking out her tongue, making Lori giggle.

"Well, come on Jimmy, we need to get going. Janis, it was wonderful seeing you again! Next time at my place. And it was nice to meet you Lisa. You are a very sweet young lady. I hope everything keeps going smoothly for you."

"Bye Lisa," Jimmy said.

"Bye bye Jimmy, bye bye Mrs. Wyatt. Hope I see you both soon!" She turned to Lori. "Are you going to stay for a while? It’s still pretty early. You didn’t even see my new kitten yet! She’s so cute!" She whispered, "Like you!" Lori gave Lisa’s hand a gentle squeeze.

"I can drive you home in a while if you want, Lori," Janis said. "It’s no trouble at all."

"Thank you. I would like to stay a little longer." She smiled at Lisa.

"Good! C’mon, let me show you my room. Jasmine’s sleeping in there right now." Lori looked confused. "Oh, Jasmine is the kitten’s name. Sorry, didn’t mean to confuse you," she giggled. She led Lori to her room.

Jasmine was curled up on Lisa’s bed, a fluffy little ball of fur. "Oh, Lisa, she’s adorable! And I heard your whisper - I think you’re really cute too!"

Lisa blushed. "Lisa, is it alright if I kiss you? I’ve always wanted to meet someone like you." Lori blushed a little herself as she said this.

Lisa just nodded, afraid she might say the wrong thing. They kissed softly, then both giggled as Jasmine woke up and "mewed" at them. Then they giggled again as both said at the same time, "That was nice!"

End of part one
