In the fall of 2007 school started in Poolville Texas. The football team was running the roads
And the Cheerleaders started practicing in the gym. The school busses were as noisy as ever.
Ronda and Danielle both boys that that have been changed to girls were in school and talking to their friends … "cheerleading might be possible next year if I can keep getting better at walking.
I am getting stronger and soon will have my braces off …look I can walk without a cane now."
Ronda said
The rehab group was working with Ronda and teaching her to balance on her forearm crutches..
She started to get better at walking with the crutches than without by holding her feet up she could walk and was learning to run with them it was strange to watch her when she got better at running with her arms … Her arms are a lot stronger than most girls and she could surprise anybody that grabbed her … last week she was walking on her hands and could walk across the room and back ..
Jason asked Ronda about Danielle and was interested in her ..
In our bedroom Dan and I changed and went into the kitchen and started making some potatoes we both peeled them and washed them put them on the stove,
I told Dan that
" Jason was asking about you and I think maybe has a crush on you .. You need to go on a date with Him."
"What are you crazy I can't go out with a boy " Dan said
"Why not ?" I asked …
" You know uh uh me I'm a boy " she said
"You are not. you , dear sister are a G.I.R.L no matter how you spell it "
"I, m afraid to go out with a boy I don't know what to do. " Dan said
"Well don't let him into your panty's anything else goes if you let him ..
Maybe you will like it .. Who knows give it a try,,, any way he is a nice boy
and he has a good family ,,,, he would be quite a catch "…I told her
.
Mom called us to the kitchen ..
Mom was setting the table so we helped her finish.
The roast smelled good, mom is a good cook and most of what she makes never has any left.
Bobby, Cat and Patty arrived they went to their rooms and changed when they came back supper was almost ready. Dinner was good. After dinner mom wanted us to listen to her for a few minuets.
'Ronda you have a Dr. appointment Friday he wants to take your braces off and put a much smaller brace in place he said the last tests showed great improvement keep up the good work and in no time you will be walking without braces at all. '"
"Dan and I are going over to Uncle Bobs to paint the big truck " we did most of the prepping this week and we are now ready to paint.
I found some chrome parts in the junkyard yesterday. A grill and mirrors, front bumper
They are in good shape and they only cost twelve dollars, the man there said they are to old he can't sell that kind anymore" …
."Ok do you have any homework?"Mom asked.
"No Dan and I finished it in school" … I said
Ronda asked the girls if they wanted to go. They said no they had homework to do
Dan and Ronda went over to Uncle bobs house and started to work on the truck they got the
Taping finished and started painting Ronda showed Dan how to use a spray gun.
It came out red and smooth it is pretty …
They cleaned the equipment and put it away went home got ready for bed.
The next day is Saturday, Dan and I were ready to go remove to tape and see what the truck looked like when we put the chrome and all on it.
" Come on Dan we can finish this morning and still have time to go swimming."
" That sounds like a plan lets do it "…Dan said
And the two musketeers went to the kitchen and made breakfast before anybody was up. They left and went to the barn worked on the truck and finished before 10:30. Dan said. " Wow that looks like a new truck and the chrome really makes it look good "
Uncle Bob came out and said, " WOW that looks good, in fact it looks better than it did when I bought it thirty years ago you did a great job, Thank you Ronda and Danielle you two make quite a good team."
"The next time we go and get some hay they won't even know the truck. That is the same red paint that I used on the VW bus I had and the black on the bed was all the paint I had left so the next project I will have to buy some new paint." I said
Danielle and I worked to polish the chrome and made the truck look better than new.
We finished in time to go and get our sisters and go swimming..
I put on my bathing suit patty was wearing hers and we looked just like twins both pink one piece with white piping and straps
Standing next to patty she said "I'm bigger that you now for sure look how much I have grown ."
She was right I am the smallest one now at 4ft , she is 4ft 2in …
Dan looked HOT wow she has a body that was made for a bathing suit…Cat and Bobbie looked funny when they saw Dan. Mom came out and we went swimming down at the pool by the school.
Jason was at the pool and his tongue fell out when Danielle took her top and shorts off.
It sure looked like he has the hots for Danielle …Jason asked her to swim with him and after a while they got out and went to the table in the corner Dan was talking a lot and for a long time. Then Jason kissed her..
From what I could see she didn't fight it ..
When we got home I asked her "Well what was it like kissing Jason .."
" Ronda were you looking at us, " she asked
"Yes we all were snickering and giggling while you made goo goo eyes at Jason.."
Danielle said " I wasn't making goo goo eyes the sun was in my face.. Anyway , well it was dreamy nice kinda like , I don't know how to describe it but I think I want to go out with him ,, he asked me to go to the movies next week ,, I have to ask mom first
Then call him and give him an answer ….Oh Ronda will you help me to get through this I'm scared
I feel funny inside when he kisses me and I got all warm …he is so strong and he hugs the air out of me … when we were kissing I could feel him growing in his bathing suit that's when I got a little scared what do I do if he does that again …."
Ronda said " well he defiantly has the hots for you and you have to be careful not to tease him to much he might go over the edge ."
Mom called us to the kitchen and we helped to make supper …
Danielle asked " Mom can I go out with Jason . Next week to the movies , he asked me today to go with him .."
Mom said " you are only fifteen and a little to young for dating .. Maybe if you could talk Ronda into going with you we might make a difference
Danielle called Jason and they talked for an hour they set a date for Saturday to go to the movies.
Friday came and Dan was jumpy and going crazy" what do I wear ?" she said
I told her to" wear a very short skirt and a halter top with out panties, that will get his attention ."
" you're a big help Ronda " Dan said
"Really thanks …. Why don't you wear those pink jeans and that pink top with the lacey trim
white socks and your tennis shoes with the pink trim and call it the pink look for this date..
Then call Jason and ask him to wear pink pants and pink shirt then you and him will match …"
"Ronda you trying to get under my skin" she said.
"Yes" and I smiled at her blinking my eyes and she threw a pillow at me …."
"I was going to wear my blue jeans with Poo Bear on them and that light blue top we got that matched .. I think that will be nice you in pink and me in blue …ok ." I said
Danielle said " I guess so ….what am I going to do with my hair .." looking in the mirror at herself …
"Why don't you shave it all off and leave a strip down the middle die it pink to match your outfit
Then spike it and go Goth punk style " I told her
"Where do you come up with all these weird ideas somebody turn one of your screws loose or something ." Dan said.
I looked down at my braces and said " nope they all look tight to me now " The next day after lunch.
"Well we better start getting ready Dan you take a bath first then call me when you are out and I will set your hair leave it damp."
After setting Danielle's hair I took my bath and started to get ready … she was nervous and jumpy about 4 o'clock and we were ready early I told her to wait in the bedroom and I will call her when Jason gets here …
Jason drove up in his 4wheeldrive pickup all shinny and polished . He came up to the door and I opened it just as he started to knock …
" Hi Jason come right in Danielle will be ready in about six hours … have a seat "
I called Dan and she came out and was red-faced blushing and Jason was BLUSHING to..
"Wow you look nice " Jason said
"so do you Jason very nice" Danielle said .
I said "OK now that everybody looks nice lets go …"
Mom came in and said "have the girls at home by ten please Jason "
"Ok Mrs. Harris I will." Jason said
We went out to the truck and Joe Duffy a friend of Jason was in the back … Joe is a little bit bigger than me about five feet three and skinny wore glasses and was a geek He loved computers ..
I knew him from school he was quiet and shy … Jason picked me up and put me in the back with him …
" Hi Joe , You must be my date for tonight " I said
" Hi Ronda , Yea I'm the date for you . Jason asked me to come meet some beautiful girls " Joe said
" Well he sure had you fooled didn't he, all you get is Danielle and me "
"no I think he did rather well with the choice I have, anyway and he got what he wanted …" Joe said "And I get you .."
Joe is sixteen and in one grade lower that I so we don't have any classes together .
He is a quiet geek smart he has good grades and a good family … his sister is in the cheer leaders squad and she is a good person fun to be with I see her at gym class everyday …
I asked him how he got roped into this date and he said" Jason asked me, how could I refuse..
Besides I really wanted to have a date with a girl, I never went out with a girl on a date.."
" Jason asked me to go to the movies with a date and that scared me witless until he said it was you. Then I said yes and I wanted to go out with you for a long time so this is my chance to meet you and talk to you and all that boy – girl stuff we don't know about .. I think you are pretty and I was afraid to ask you out … I am small and skinny most girls won't look at me twice …but you are nice to me all the time .. " Joe said
" well I am always nice to small people I happen to be one myself incase you didn't notice ,,
and I can't run away from a good looking boy can I … " Ronda said
" That's not funny , you have braces on your legs and cant run at all .. but you still try and you still work hard at getting better your strong where it counts most,, we - you and I are the smallest kids in the school and we look good together you want to go to the dance on the 15 th with me ?"
Joe asked.
"Maybe we will wait until it gets closer then we will know what we have scheduled by then ..
besides I cant dance right now …" Ronda said
We turned into the mall and drove to the theater Joe and Jason got out and came around the truck Jason picked me up and put me down by Joe . Danielle took Jason's hand and we went to the box office for tickets Joe paid for mine and Jason paid for Dans we went in and got a large popcorn and a drink each .. We started to watch the movie …Jason put his arm around Danielle she put her head on Jason's shoulder … Joe was scared to do anything so I put my arm around him and he leaned down and put his head on my shoulder .. That felt a little funny but I liked it ..about halfway into the movie Joe had to go to the rest room so I went to when we got back Jason and Dan were kissing Jason had his hand on Danielle's leg . she kept pushing it off and he put it back …Joe was a little emboldened by that, so when we sat down he helped me release the clips on my braces so my legs would bend …then he put his arm around my neck and tried to kiss me but he didn't have the experience and still shy …. I helped by kissing him that was a new experience and sent chills up my spine and I felt funny inside …He tried again and we kissed .WOW still feels funny inside .
Jason and Danielle were going at it full time now I saw Jason's hand in Danielle's lap but didn't say anything he was rubbing her and I think he had his tongue down her throat ..Her face was red and she had a dreamy look on her face … Suddenly she shook awake and said "I have to go to the restroom common Ronda go with me .please" … In the girls room we started talking and I told her about Jason's hand …
She said " I have to get away from him for a minute before I jump his bones ..he has me all mushy inside and tingling all over when he rubbed my breast I went crazy that never happened before am a boy and that is not right something is wrong with me I like him and want to do things with him , this is crazy , I want to go home and hide what do I do he is nice but I don't know what to do ..
I told her " well don't let him put his hands in your lap that is why I told you to wear blue jeans
If you wore a skirt he would have his finger in you and then you are all done he won't stop till he goes all the way and has sex with you and you young lady are to young … So when you go back kissing is ok but keep his hands off your parts let him roam a little but not touch OK .."
Danielle said .
"Ok Ronda I think he went to far any way,, he is strong as an ox and hard to keep his hand off
me but I will try … how is Joe doing I saw you two kissing is he any good ?"
"Remember me I was a boy too, and look at my size do I look like a boy to you ?"
"Uh No ,,, you are all girl I know I saw you naked and you are all girl … and cute not like me "
"I am not cute …."She said
"Well Dan I saw you naked also and you are all girl and you have all girl parts top and bottom
remember me we share a bedroom and that wax job over at uncle Bobs …
"don't remind me please" she laughed " I guess we are both girls do girls go through this kind of thing when they start dating? " Danielle asked
" Yes I think they do bobby is going through it now just like you are and Cat and patty will start in time right now is our time to learn and maybe we can help them through the rough spots before they get into a problem ..
and mom will help if you ask her … fix your lipstick it's a mess .. you might want to take a wet
towel out and clean Jason's face that will help to cool him down .." I said
"Well you take one and clean Joes face and we can get back to the movie ,what did we come to see anyway I need to know so we can tell mom "…Danielle said
"You feeling better now ? under control and everything ?" I asked
"Yes thanks Ronda you've been a big help "..Danielle said
Nothing happened after the movies we went to the school to watch the bat races …
Joe was in the back with me and he didn't know anything about girls or social petting ..
Jason on the other hand was a handful as I was watching them in the front seat …
I said "Hey you two, your steaming up the windows slow down a little .."
Danielle and Jason Yelled back " go away little girl don't bother us ."
I said " Look at the time we need to straighten our clothing and clean our faces Jason cant go home with lipstick on his mom will think he has gone gay or something "
Danielle said " he is not gay .. "
Jason said " I get you for that remark ,,,
I ,ll hang your boyfriend in the girls locker by his toes ."
Joe said " will you stop it please I get nervous when you start that stuff I never know when you are really serious .."
Jason said " I am serious Ronda will have to go in there a save you .."
I said " come on we have to go I have some wipes in my purse and some clean napkins "
Jason said " ok Joe I was only kidding "
He took us home right on time it was ten o'clock ……
The next morning …
Mom said " We are going to move in two weeks to a new place up the road ….I hope you like the new place everything is new and shinning .you all remember Angel, well she has finished the school. The one he talked about and she said we will build, and it is ready to move into
. We will have lots of room now.
And soon a lot of Girls will be here to move in with us. We are all going to work with them and make this the best school there is,
I have a meeting with the people tomorrow. When I know more I will be able to plan better ….But for the rest of the year…and when summer starts we switch to our own school…The Harris School for Girls."
Construction was going on down the road from the Harris trailer with a lot of large equipment cement trucks and trucks with lumber and sheet rock …This used to be a quarry and they stopped
Using it about forty years ago ….The area is grown up with trees and the road that went out there
Was blocked by a downed tree that fell years ago.
There is a large stonewall all around the property
About seven feet high and four feet thick. The road winds for about six hundred yards and ends in a pit about 6 ½ acres across (2200' x 4200 ') the total of the property 400 acres.
The pit was 45 ' deep and flat on the bottom … just in front of the road where the wall is was a stone house that was used for a office for the quarry. At the bottom of the pit were foundations and thick walls to hold the heavy equipment that used to be there and a long concrete bottom road for the trucks that worked the quarry none of this area can be seen from the road at all. The only thing that can be seen was the wall back from the road about fifty feet. And a lot of trees …
The work going on now for about eight months and the big trucks are not coming any more
The cement work is almost finished and brickwork was finishing up spring is in the air and time for renewing, new growth, new beginnings.
We just got home from school Danielle and I.
Mom was in the kitchen making supper when we came in …"hi girls, go get changed and help me with supper." Your sisters will be here soon. Then we need to have a family talk." Mom said
My sisters came home from school and mom wanted to talk to all of us….
" O K everybody in the kitchen… sit down I have some news and it involves all of us ..
To start with we are going to move soon and I want you girls to pack your own things and mark the boxes so you can find them later and know what is in that box.."
"Second only pack what you don't need every day or can get away without for a few days ..
Third we are going to see the new school now in a little while and look it over …
When we come back you can tell your friends about the school building itself but nothing else you see should be said to anybody this is a family home and we don't want people nosing around or asking questions.
It is just a school for girls as far as you know and that is what you can tell anybody who asks" Mom was serious.
"There are twenty rooms in the main school building on the first floor.
Under the school is three stories of rooms and office space a garage and swimming pool .
On top of the underground building is a ¼ mile track and soccer fields for two games at a time
Badminton nets and tennis nets picnic grounds and tables, nobody is to know about the underground part of this school ever …… If we have friends over we bring them into the school building and to our bedrooms but never tell even your friends about what is down under the school that could get them in trouble or hurt if someone thought they knew anything about is place.
Do you understand? …"
"Yes we all said … "
"We will make this a safe place for the kids that need a home and care, to make a life. Most have been abused badly and are going to need your love and help to get them through .. we must teach them and train them to make a life in this world …to be able to protect themselves so nothing will happen to them again ever…this is not going to be easy in fact you are going to be teachers and going to live with these kids and help them we will have all the help we need as new teachers get here .. The goal is to train these kids to be teachers and helper's .To go out into the world and make a living. . So get ready and we will go check it out now." mom said
When we drove into the school from the road you could not see the building .the road was new blacktop when we saw the school with a flagpole and flowers in a front reception area and parking lot.
The building looked like it was made from rock and was very strong white stone ringed the doors and windows the grass was green and looked like it was well cared for most of the trees were in good condition and a lot of them …….
There was lighting all around everywhere …looking toward the back there was a large old barn on the left and a large carport like building on the right that had a bus in it. A big white bus with HARRIS SCHOOL FOR GIRLS written on the side.
The windows had film over them to keep the sun out and nobody could see in.
We went into the building and it is impressive a large open court with office spaces and a balcony
Terrazzo floors shined and were polished marble on the walls an elevator and a stairway to the second floor offices.

To get to the family living area you had to enter from the rear of the building there are stairways on both ends of the building and an elevator in the middle you must have a key to open any door or to operate the elevator
The top floor is where we will live and most of the girls will have a bedroom there . There must be thirty bedrooms enough for 120 girls and sitting rooms bathrooms a small kitchen and a large living room in the middle.
The second floor is where the classrooms are and bathrooms.
The first or bottom floor has a gym and shower room also another shower room for a visiting team.. Kitchen and dinning is on the first floor. …none of the building is accessible from the front only from the back the office is separate from the rest and only one door goes to the back and it is locked all the time and monitored with cameras front and back there are cameras all over the place some are hard to see and some we could not see …
The first floor had the gym and locker areas storage rooms for equipment
Security office and control room that controlled the doors so they can open a door when you come in or go out that office was the way to get under the school and gain access to the three floors under the school . There is a building out in the back that looks like a big garage for busses and trucks that has a entrance to the under ground area …A large elevator took you down to the three floors … It is huge under there and a lot of things can be done with that space …it must be six times bigger than the school and could not be seen at all if you did not know that it was there you would not even know ..even walking on top of that area seems strange but it is solid and strong …
We went down there and not much there just lighting right now on all three floors you could get lost in there very easy …
We went home to pack up all our stuff and bring it over here and start setting up house …
It is amazing what one can accumulate in a two-year stay. …Uncle Bob said he was going to tear the trailer down and clear the land that will make watching everything easier.and he can run cattle there ……….The next morning Dan and I went to Uncle Bobs and got the big truck we put the side boards on and drove it to the trailer …We all started to load boxes and furniture until we had most everything out some big and heavy things will need help to get loaded …
We started out for the school and got there as we started to unload Uncle bob came and helped us.
When the truck was unloaded we started bringing it up to the top floor and put it in our rooms.
It sure felt funny a whole room just for me.
I liked the set up every room had two beds and a closet for each side there was a bathroom in-between each room so two rooms shared a bath.
As night fell we were tired and almost everything was done and put in place ….
Mom said " well we need a break let's get a pizza and some coke what do you think girls ..
We can finish up tomorrow and get ready for the kids to get here .."
We all thought that was a great idea mom went and got the pizza and brought it to our new home.
We had setup the television in the center room with the deep carpet and sat on the floor watching
The tube ….when we finished we cleaned up and got ready for bed …we were the only people here and it was quiet … mom said the people will start arriving Monday and we should get the rest of our things done so we can help them when they arrive ….
I asked Mom" Where are they coming from Mom .."
Mom said " From California around LA there is a hospital there that is run by a very special group of people and these kids that are sent here will be girls .. some are real girls and some have been turned into girls and have no place to go so this special group has built two schools one for boys and one for girls this is the girls school and we will help to train and teach them until they can be on their own … some may take a long time to get over what has happened to them .."
I asked Mom " Where is all the money coming from to pay for all this it must cost several million to build this school and to staff it that's a small fortune ."
Mom said " It is a little complicated let me try to explain .. Here goes, first the foundation that started this is the Tyrone Slothrop foundation funded by a grant from promisense committee to rehabilitate victims of Transtalent Company.. Angel and Carolyn Tunturo estate. Is the administrator here.
The same people that run a rehab center in LA …will run this school and will help when we need it."
"Wow sorry you asked. that is a lot to take in an a short time .. it sure sounds like we have our work cut out ahead of us . I hope we can handle it …" Danielle said
"I'm sure you will do fine Dan and the rest of you will to.. We will teach them and we will have fun too.. I think the girls start to arrive Monday " Mom said.
Monday morning we all got up and tried to get breakfast the new setup is a lot different that the trailer we moved from. Everything in the kitchen was new and had to be washed or broken in
After about an hour we finally got it completed.
Mom said "we are going to be late so hurry up and get dressed, Ronda will take you to school we have to tell the bus driver where we live so he can stop here tomorrow."
Off we went getting dressed in a mad rush at least we now had bathrooms and enough room to move around and we were dressed in record time …..
We went down in the elevator my van was parked next to mom's blazer and the truck was still at the loading dock ..
All the kids loaded into my van and we set off for school I dropped the girls at their school and Danielle and I went to the high school .. They had just opened the front doors to let the kids in and we caught up to Jason and Joe on the way in … "Hi guys" … Dan said .
Jason said .. " Hey Danielle I went by your house this morning and nobody was there … what happened you move or something "
I said " Yah we did last night we are trying to get away from you and Joe "
Danielle said, " Stop that Ronda you trying to get me broken up with Jason or something."
Jason said " Broken up? Your mine forever you know that don't you ."
I said ." not if you cant find us and I wont tell where we moved to ….."
Joe said " I'm staying out of this ,,,, you are out of my league when it comes to harassment "
"Smart boy " Dan said pointing at him " you might make it in this world … you should never try to match wits with Ronda she has some of the weirdest things she comes up with …."
"Well if you want to take us home you will find were we moved to I'll take Joe with me and pick up my sisters and you can follow us to the new place .." I said, …"Danielle can ride with Jason
When we get to the new place we have to check in and mom said we will have a lot of people there.
So we have to find out what is going on before we can do anything .. We still have some unpacking to do and some things to be done …. Maybe you can help us put things together … " I said
Jason said " sounds like a plan lets do it "
We arrived home and the big bus was gone there are a lot of cars and a few trucks in the back .
Joe said " WOW this is a big place I didn't know a building this big was in this town you live here
How do you find your way around I would get lost for sure this place is huge .. "
"We live on the top floor common we can take the elevator up " I said.
"You got an elevator in there to?" Jason said.
"YUP we got an elevator in there to "? I said
Danielle said
"Common you can help us put together the beds and help move the other stuff around, there is a lot of work to be done, I ll ask mom and maybe you can stay for supper, do you have to call home and ask your mom if it's ok "
Joe said " yes mom would be worried if I did not call she would call our the National Guard"
Jason said, " Mom would be worried if I didn't call I'm sure it would be all right but I'll ask anyway … "
As we arrived on the top floor we got off and mom met us at the elevator greeted the boys and showed them where the phone was so they could call home ….
Joe called his mom " hi mom is it all right if I stay at Ronda's house for a while they just moved and need some help setting up Mrs. Harris said she will feed us supper and Jason is here to he said he can bring me home later, This new place is huge I think it is bigger than the high school I know it is higher it has three stories and an elevator there are a lot of men working on the back yard. Putting in grass and it looks like bleachers for a ball field. Mom you gotta see this place .
I'll ask Mrs. Harris to invite you over sometime if you want …..Ok .."
The big bus came back and there were about ten girls on it and about eight other people ,
Mom went down and greeted them and brought them up to the top floor.
These girls were from LA and the people were teachers and workers that are here to help run the school ..
Two Ladies are cooks and wanted to find the kitchen so they could start supper for everyone
We have about twenty five people to feed so we will get started … Mom took the other ladies
And showed them the bedrooms and they took over and appointed a room for each girl and matched up some of them, Joann is the lady that will be room monitor she has a room by us ,
Miss Julie is a marshal arts teacher she looks like a man and has big muscles, I don't think I would mess with her.she has a room by the elevator..
The girls seemed shy and were quiet they were assigned a room some together and other by themselves Miss Julie did the assignments ….
Miss Julie ask me . " Ronda do you think you can handle a four year old as a roommate ?. She will need a lot of help to cope and will need a friend she can count on .. It will be up to you .
She is a girl that was sold by her druggie parents as a sex slave she has been badly abused and will
Need help to become a little girl again .. She wets her self and at night so we know about your problems and think you could help her to learn ….. It won't be easy but it needs to be done .
Think about it and let me know tomorrow before she gets here. She should get here about five in the after noon about when you get home from school."
I said " I have do ask mom and my sisters, that is a lot to think about. Tomorrow will be a good time.
Miss Julie said, " Ok, Her name is Betty no last name yet, just Betty and she just turned four."
I asked mom she said yes but it was up to me. My sisters wanted to help me with her.
The next day we went to school and Jason met me by the door he said he was sore from moving all those beds around … Joe was the same way dragging his but around like he was an old man …
Danielle walks over and kissed Jason to make him feel better. He seemed to perk up then.
I went over to Joe in front of every body and kissed him bent him over and all the whole group of kids whooped and hollered poor Joe turned Red. Wolf whistles and teasing for a few minuets…
That was fun school was ok just a little boring they don't have the math I need here I have to use the library to look up things to stimulate my mind …. Thinking about Betty and am going to do it and help her …
When school was out I asked Jason and Joe if they could come over and help move some stuff
Jason said, " What you wore me out yesterday you want to make me loose weight and waste away "
I said, " Waste way! It would take at least a month of had work to even make a dent it that big butt of yours ".
"You gonna get yours miss smarty pants " he grabbed me and put me over his head …" your going to have to beg to get down now."
I said to Joe " sic um Joe get him and rip his arm off "
Joe moved away from Jason and said " are you crazy how am I supposed to do that Ronda your gonna get me killed. "
Jason laughed at Joe's acting and he put me down..
Jason said, "well I want to come over and help…. Mom said she doesn't need me there for a while and it will be good for me to get out and meet people…. How about you Joe want to come I will bring you home later? "
Joe said, " I have to call mom first but I don't think she will mind as long as she knows where I am."
"Ok "Danielle said " meet us at our house we have to pick up the other girls and we will be home after that … Come on Ronda lets get our sisters. "
As we driving home the big bus was in front of us and pulled in to the driveway there was another bus behind us and a truck behind that we all pulled to the back of the school I parked in the normal spot and we got out the busses stopped by the middle door and the doors opened the people from inside came out.
Mom came and said " we have new girls about 60 of them come with me and help to get them settled in they have been on the bus for three days and are tired and hungry.
Maybe a little scared … "
"Ok mom, Dan let me take the books up and you and the others can help mom .."
I went up the elevator and put the books in our rooms .. Then I went and changed my diaper so I would be dry for a while .. Went back down and met a bunch of girls I never had seen before they wanted to know where to go ..
I said " well I might as well show you since I'm already here ,,follow me " I took them to the elevator and pushed three up we went … when the door opened we were met by miss Julie the marshal arts teacher …
Miss Julie said, " welcome girls I will show you where to put your things .. Anybody need to go potty there is a bathroom right over here and over there on that side.."
Six girls went and four went to the other room at the end of the hallway.
Miss Julie asked, " Ronda, stay with the elevator and guide the people up to here they will meet me and I will show them where to go …"
I went down and there were twenty more girls there and the elevator can only hold about fifteen
We filled the elevator I pushed the button and up we went …. Miss Julie met us there they all got out and I went back down ….
I loaded fifteen more and made another trip down there was fifteen more waiting …after the fourth trip Mom and my sisters got on…
"There will be a few more in a little while" mom said .. " They need to put the buses away and unload the truck …they will handle that you can come with us ….
I asked " where is Jason and Joe ."
Mom said " unloading the truck for a while they will be up in a little bit we need them up here to put beds together and to help out where needed…
Miss Janice the cook came and took a head count so she could start on dinner for about seventy-five + the help that came with the group about eighty-six altogether.
Jason & Joe came up wide eyed looking at all the girls the room monitor Miss Joann came and asked the boys to help her put the beds together …
So away they went down the hall into the world of girls and feminity..
Most of the girls were about thirteen although they started at four and some older girls were eighteen …
Jason and Joe did a lot of work they had some girls helping and together they finished just before dinner we all went down the dinning room
They cooked up a bunch of T-bone steaks French fries … peach cobbler with blue bell ice cream
Jason ate three and the cook was happy to see him do it ..
After dinner we went up to the big living room and put a movie on there was a bunch of girls with us and after a while some fell asleep …
Jason took Joe home and said he would see us in school tomorrow …
The next day Jason said " Ronda I sure felt funny with being the only boy there."
Joe said, "HEY I was there Too " " Oh yeah I forgot Joe is a boy "
"Thanks a lot buddy ". Joe said.
" Well will you be available tonight we could use you guys Mom said you are a great help and are welcome anytime, …" I said
"Yes I can help let me call mom she was interested in what I was doing there last night." Jason said
"How about you Joe want to go over with me, " Jason said.
"To many girls there I don't know …
I said " Joe you worked with them last night did any of them bite you ?"
" No that's,,, not it there is just to … many" Joe said
"But Joe they all love you I will ask them all to kiss you tonight," Danielle said
"Please no- I think you would do it too " Joe said
Joe's face got red …
I said, "We will meet here after school. Go call your mom when you get a chance .
We will feed you again they can cook some good food for dinner hope you liked what we had last night …there won't be as much to do tonight most everything should be done … there are some more girls coming today so we will have about 100 all together plus about twenty teachers and staff. I think the security people are going to be here today so when we get there we might have to be checked in I can help you with that, you will need to be checked out and then will get a sticker for your truck … "
Jason and Joe both met me after school we went home and sure enough there is a security post at the entrance and a new gate when I drove up they came out and check everybody in the van and I told them that Jason and Joe were following us in to help out tonight. They opened the gate and let me in then stopped Jason and checked him out took his picture and Joes picture then made them a badge to ware.. Opened the gate for them to come in ….
Around in back some girls were running around the track more people in the control room and the doors opened when we approached we got on the elevator went up and went to my room .. When I got there was a new youth bed and dresser some clothes and things that should belong to a small child..
Mom came in and said.
" Ronda you have a new roommate come I will introduce her to you. Hi Boys we could use you in the dorm area we have some more beds to put up … you girls have any homework or boys have any? "
No s echoed around we have some but it is not due till Monday and today is Friday.
Mom said " Ok, Dinner is at six meet us in the dinning hall about then ok."
"Come with me Ronda"
We went to the family room and there was the cutest little girl sitting in a wheelchair
Mom said "She is about four her name is Betty and she has special needs that I think you can handle … the bar in-between her legs will come off in about two weeks. She has had an operation and needs to heal but she wears diapers and she will need to be cleaned and changed often…
Think you can handle her ? "
"Yes I can try is she the one that is going to stay in my room .?" I said
"Yes she's the one you can take her with you when you go back and she will be yours to keep for now . Any questions or if you need any help we will be working down the hall buy that end …"
Mom said
"No I think we need to get to know each other so we will start now "
Come with me Betty hi I'm Ronda I will be your big sister"
We went back to my room and I showed Betty our room and where she will sleep, the bathroom and the closet to keep her things in. She didn't say much she just looked around then said.
" I am wet and need a change can you help me '
"Yes, come over here can you use that wheelchair or do you need help?" I said
" I don't know how to use this chair will you teach me Ronda please, " Betty said
Come on and we will change you first and then teach you to drive. I had to do that last year when I was in the hospital and had an operation like you. But I had to stay in the hospital for two months.
When I came home I used a wheelchair for about four months and got so I could walk with only my braces and forearm crutches. Now I can walk with only a little help sometime..
I can teach you to walk again and then we can have fun .. Can you sing we have a group that likes to sing and we can teach you to sing with us … fooooboy you stink?. I need to wash your bottom .
Stay there .." I took her dirty diaper and disposed of it got a washcloth and some soap washed her bottom and saw the stitches and scars that showed where she was sowed up, Got her cleaned up and powered her behind put a disposable diaper on her and she used the same size as me so that will be a help. At least she can be a little more like me now and I can train her.
"There you are one clean and pretty little girl. Would you like to play with one of my dolls?"
Betty shook her head and said " uh huh yes "
I went looking for my doll the one Jason gave me at the school fair. He won it at a booth by throwing a ball at some milk bottles and the first ball he threw he knocked down the one he was aiming at and the one next to it also, the second ball cleaned off the table he still had one ball left and the operator gave him the big fancy doll the was on display … Jason gave it to me. Ah here it is.
" Ok Betty this is Ronnie her real name is Veronica but I call her Ronnie. Say hello to Betty
Ronnie. Hello Betty ".
I gave her the doll and she looked so happy and excited. She said, " Hi Veronica can I call you Ronnie to like Ronda does?"
A knock at the door.
Miss Joann said. " Can I come in and see Betty please Ronda? "
I said, " Yes come in and sit for a while.
She came in and checked Betty to see if she needed a diaper change but I had already done that
And she looked at Betty and Betty looked back at her and said, " this is Ronnie my friend Ronda let me play with her is that ok miss Joann "
Joann Said " yes betty that is alright you can play with her. Who changed you?
Betty said, " Ronda did and she washed my bottom and it feels better now "
Joann said, " Ronda thank you, you are a big help and Betty seems to get along with you.
That is a first she has been a lot to handle the last four months that we had her with us. And nobody could come close to her. I at least could help her. Till now and you have shown a skill that she needs to help her. I will put it in my report and let us see where this takes us if you have any problems get in touch with me right away and I will help you … Ok "
" Ok Joann we will so how many diapers does she need in a day? She uses the same size as I do so there won't be a problem with storage and she needs some dresses and other girly stuff. My things are too big for her right now but as she grows she will fit into my things and we will share… "
Joann said. " Ok betty you alright with staying with Ronda."
Betty said, " Yes I like Ronda and Ronnie and my bed is nice "
Joann said " good we will leave it like this for now and see how it works out. " I leave it in your hands good luck girls see you at dinner in about one hour. By " And she left …
"Well Betty what do you think of the room? I want to put a poster over there with Disney care actors on it and what would you like?"
Betty said " I don't know I never had a room before and that is the first bed I have in a long time
I used to sleep on the floor most of the time with a blanket. Sometimes I wet the blanket and they
Threw me another one and sometimes they didn't I lay down on the driest part I could find the room was a closet sometimes it was a bedroom but I had to sleep on the floor unless the man wanted to play with me and hurt me on my bottom I was bleeding and sore but they still hurt me …when I got sick the police came and took me away and I was in the hospital and the man came to get me and the police took him away. And I was taken to a place where the girls were and now I am here at least I don't hurt any more down there. Just I keep wetting myself and sometimes I mess in my pants and I cant help it, it just comes out I don't know what to do. "
I said " well let us get you all better and walking again then we can work on the rest ok "
She said, " Ok Ronda will you be my friend and can Ronnie be my friend to?"
I said " yes you are my bestest friend and Ronnie will love to play with you she doesn't have to many friends and she needs a little help to be a good girl "
We went down to dinner and most of the girls were there we got in line and I got Betty a tray.
Beef stew and rye bread mashed potatoes green beans milk. And it was good Betty had a little problem handling her fork and spoon she was hungry and ate like Jason. Only not as much but she enjoyed it just as much from the smile she had on her face.
The next morning was Saturday when I woke Betty was sitting playing with Ronnie she was happy and I watched her for a little while. I needed to change my diaper and probly Betty's to.
I got up and went into the bathroom and started to fill the tub with warm water then went and got Betty and told her we are going to take a bath. I carried her in to the bathroom and took off her nightgown and diaper. Put her in the tub and then stripped off my nightgown and diaper and got in with her. We played a little and I washed her and me I washed her hair and got out and dried myself then put my braces on and wrapped a towel around me then got Betty out and dried her.
We struggled back into the bedroom and I laid her down and diapered her then got a blouse and a skirt for her to wear today. That was all she seemed to have. She sat up and took Ronnie holding her while I got dressed when I was putting on my diaper she asked " do you wear diapers to I think you are a big girl and only I wear diapers. "
I said " Some big girls wear diapers because they don't have everything working in their body yet and that is the best way to keep them dry."
Betty said, " Ok are you going to wear a top and skirt like mine? "
"I have to look and see what I have to wear. Maybe we can find something that is the same.
Would you like that?"
Betty said, " Yes, I would like to look like you." You are my best friend …"
Joann came in and checked on Betty … " Well you are up and dressed already that is nice Betty .you look pretty today did Ronda help you to clean up this morning?"
"Yes Ronda and me took a bath and she dressed me and dressed herself and she is my bestest friend … and I love her very much she dresses me like her so we can be like sisters " Betty said
Joann said " It looks like you have a admirer Ronda she has taken to you that is great we couldn't get her to talk much and she has talked more to day than she has in three months since she came to live with us.good work girls how about breakfast come on we will beat the crowd …"
I said " sounds good to me I am hungry how about you Betty.
Betty said " me berry hungry "
We went down to the dining room and there were about forty girls there already.
I pushed Betty in her wheelchair and put a tray on her lap she wanted everything but I don't think she could eat it all so I put some bacon and eggs and toast for both of us Joann carried our milk so we didn't spill any and we sat down at a table…. I didn't need my cane because I was pushing Betty and that made me feel better.
My sisters came and joined us as we were eating I introduced Betty to my sisters and told her that she has a lot of sisters now …
