Girlie Makeovers

Mary Harper had just arrived at the food court of the local mall. Her friend Samantha Clark waved her over to a table. "Hi, Mary. Glad you could make it. Sit down and let's talk". "Hi Sam. How are your three kids?"

"Well you know that Ashley is quite the makeup artist and Nikki is our hair stylist. They both work at the Salon at the end of the mall." "Yes, I see them in there from time to time. How is your son Erik?" Mary asked.

"He's really a sweet child. So helpful and gets along so well with his sisters. By the way the last time we talked you said that your sons Larry and Karl were giving you problems. I know that your daughter Katie is the light of your life."

Mary said that since her husband left, the boys have been a handful, never helping out around the house and being somewhat of a pain to most females in general. They also had not gotten haircuts for months. Sam said she remembered their disrespectful behavior and offered that she may have a solution to this problem. Just then, Sam looked up and said, "Well, here are my three lovely daughters."

Mary looked up and recognized Ashley and Nikki but the third pretty girl she couldn't identify. All three of them were dressed in cute outfits with nice hair styles and perfect understated makeup. They were all carrying Victoria Secret bags.

"Hi, Mrs. Harper" said the mystery girl. Mary looked closely and saw that it was Erik. Before she could speak, the sweet voice announced "You can call me Erica." They all sat down at the table. Ashley was holding a photo album.

Mrs. Harper explained that Erica had been very close to her sisters. Growing up in a family of females, Ashley and Nikki often practiced their makeup skills and hair style techniques on their brother. At first, Samantha didn't quite know what to do with this situation, but since Erica was much nicer and helpful than Erik, she agreed to this relationship and as time went on, Erica acquired their hand me downs as well as some of her own clothes.

"We just bought some cute camisoles and pants sets" said Ashley.

Each took them out of their bags and showed them. Ashley bought a flirty tank top with low rise shorts. Nikki purchased a racerback tank with lettice edge boyshorts. Erica displayed her cheetah print double strap cami with a hipster panty.

"Mrs. Harper, can we talk with you about a plan to help you to get some positive cooperation from your unruly sons?"

Holding the photo album, Ashley talked about how their troublesome little brother Erik was transformed into their sweet caring little sister Erica. But there was more than this to their plan. Erica excused herself because she had to attend her dance class.

It seems that over the last few months there were some unusual customers booked into their Salon. This woman, Mrs. Taylor, had scheduled makeovers, one at a time, for four males. It turned out they were her husband, her brother, and her two sons.

Ashley and Nikki then went through the photo album, and showed pages of before and after photos. The "befores" were of frightened looking guys and the "afters" were shots of very girlie females with complete hair and makeup treatments as well as very cute outfits. They said that they now see these four at least once a month and that the woman was a very big tipper. The workers at the salon all try to get the assignment to work some girlie magic on the former troublesome males. There is also a videotape of them at home and outside in their finest feminine attire.

Samantha turned to Mary and said to listen as the girls explained how the woman accomplished this control and changeover. It seems that the girlfriends of Mrs. Taylor's sons convinced the boys that to really understand women and show their affection, the guys needed to share a personal intimate experience with the girls. What could be more intimate than wearing articles of clothing most close to their bodies, their underwear and hose. They convinced the boys that this would be sexy and romantic and would make them even more attracted to them. Under this powerful, persuasive, flirting spell of these beautiful girls, the guys eventually carried out their wishes. As an afterthought, a few more items of clothing and a touch of makeup were added to the deal.

Suddenly cameras appeared and several photographs were taken of the new girls in their outfits. The girlfriends said these were only for their own enjoyment and to mark this special moment, but it was implied that it might be embarrassing if someone saw these photos and didn't understand what was going on. If they didn't continue to follow their directions and control, imagine what might happen if these girlie pictures were seen by their friends. Secretly the guys were excited by the sensuality and romance of this most intimate moment.

The boys' mother, Mrs. Taylor, soon became aware of these actions and was so pleased with the attitude adjustments of her new daughters that she had to try it on her husband and her brother. With such powerful female forces behind it, they soon also fell under this nylon and Lycra spell.

Word was spread along the female network and it wasn't long before Amanda and Meghan, the girlfriends of the Harper brothers, and the boys' sister Katie, were soon planning to initiate two members into the club. To a girl, there is something mysterious about an unexpected glimpse of lace, nylon or satin. The possibility of an outline of girlie straps under a top or the hint of visible panty lines on the bottom of a guy makes one quite curious. An accidental brush against the pant leg or a touch on the side that results in a sensuous glide of materials is quite a surprising turn on for a girl. There is something special about sneaking a peek and wondering if you see a feminine waistband showing from a pair of underwear or pantyhose.

 

"That sounds like it may be a possible approach for my sons." said Mrs. Harper.

The girls then said that they had a surprise. Working with her sons' girlfriends and her daughter Katie, they had already started to activate the plan. They told Mrs. Harper that she should use her cell phone and call home and ask to speak to Katie.

When the call was made she found out that Lauren and Kristin, formerly Larry and Karl, were at that moment helping to clean up the house. Larry's girlfriend, Meghan, had decided on a younger look so Lauren was wearing Hue Opaque Sheer to Waist Tights in White and a lacy white camisole with a pink rose at the chest under his clothes. He also had on a pair of frilly rhumba panties.

Karl's girlfriend, Amanda, had decided on an older image so Kristin was now wearing Hanes Silk Reflections Sheer Toe Opaque Tights in Ebony over cotton undies and a size 36B Teenform contour bra that was designed to create a smooth line under fashions and was lightly lined with polyester fiberfill to add shape and support under his clothes.

Laurens hair was arranged in two short pigtails tied with pink ribbons and Kristin had a short French braid. Katie announced that rather than having two older brothers, she now had an older sister and a younger sister to share feminine experiences with.

The Clark girls had made arrangements for the salon to be available for a private session today so Amanda, Meghan, Katie, Lauren and Kristin could all come in for makeovers.

After a half an hour had passed, the two moms waiting in front of the salon, saw the group of five coming down the mall. The boys were dressed in their normal outer clothes but everyone was aware of the dainties that were underneath as they entered the door.

The plan was to have Amanda, Meghan and Katie get nice makeovers and for Mrs. Harper to observe the transformation of her boys into girls. The salon girls Ashley and Nikki would perform most of the magic, but several other salon girls were eager to assist. Two of them would videotape and photograph most of this special event.

"Let's get you two out of those disgusting boys' clothes and into these short robes and sandals for your makeovers. You should remove your tights for now" said Ashley. They went into the changing area, followed the instructions and sheepishly came out. "Before we begin, let us see you in your pretties" Nikki said. They embarrassingly opened their robes so that it was now obvious that they were on their way to a big change in their life. Mrs. Harper remarked, "It appears I now have three lovely daughters, one full time and two part time and the color showing on your faces now may mean you won't need too much blush when it's time for your makeup"

An appointment was made for a waxing next week and they were told they would look cute in their leotards after they were enrolled in the aerobics class at the health club across from the mall.

The plan was to wash and style their hair, clean and moisturize their faces, apply their new makeup while carefully explaining what is being done to them and to finally to get them into their new outfits.

Over at the hair stations, Nikki, the hair stylist directed her team in shampooing. Herbal Essences Natural Volume Texturizing shampoo was used. It helped to increase the thickness of the hair. A salon product, Aveda Conditioner in Rosemary Mint was worked into the hair and was rinsed after sitting for five minutes on their heads. Their hair was diffused dried after the conditioner. They were given fashion magazines to read while waiting for their hair to dry. Meghan had decided on the younger look for Larry, now Lauren and she requested a little girl's style. They decided on pigtails which make a very cute, fun, bouncing appearance. The now lustrous hair was separated into two sections high on the head. Tiny braids were tied and precious pink ribbons were attached to the ends. Lauren also now had a short fringe of bangs over her forehead.

Karl's, now called Kristin's, girlfriend Amanda knew that Kristin would have to grow her hair longer, but for now she left Nikki to use her famous hairstyling tricks to create a cute hairstyle for Kristin. Nikki did a little trimming and angled the sides to frame the face. She created several uniform layers with large and small pin curls. Kristin's hair was then pulled to the top of her head letting the ends flutter. With the help of some volumizing hair spray and some jeweled barrettes, Kristin now had a pretty updo. "We may try some perms for both of you next time and some color highlights" said Nikki's assistant Rachael.

The nail girls now took over. "Painting your nails, both fingers and toes, will be something you will learn to do for fun. Today were going to do it for both of you, but you'll learn soon how to apply polish on your own." said Keely, the best nail stylist around. Clippers, files, emery boards soon appeared. "You will learn to keep your nails relatively short in a squared off oval shape. They are easier to maintain this way. Kristin, since you're older, you will probably want to try extensions next time." Two girls worked on the hands and two more on their feet. A base coat was applied followed by two cover coats and after drying time, a clear top coat was added. Cover Girl's Nailslicks were used. Lauren was polished with Pink Wink and Kristin had Mauvelicious applied.

"Before we get you made up, we will discuss the importance of always cleansing and moisturizing before and after makeup to maintain that silky smooth face." commented Ashley, the makeup artist.

They used L'Oreal products for this. They were vitamin enriched and were dermatologist tested. First, Hydra Fresh Foaming Gel was massaged gently onto the wet skin, worked into a lather and rinsed with warm water. This was to gently deep clean without drying the skin. Hydra Fresh toner was now applied to play down the pores and remove dead skin. The last step was to apply HydraFresh Moisturizer over the major areas of the face and to gently massage it in until it was absorbed. The citrus scented product cooled and softened the skin. Ashley also recommended the Clean & Clear products and mentioned that they would need to apply the Biore self heating mask treatment twice a week.

The two new girls now were escorted over to the makeup area. Before they started, pink headbands were placed on their heads to keep the hair out of their faces.

"Before we apply the makeup, I like to work on a feature often overlooked, the eyebrows." said Ashley. For Lauren's look, the brows were not as defined and with an eyebrow brush and comb, the hair was brushed up and a small pair of nail clippers used to trim above the brow line. Kristen's older look involved combing and also tweezing the strays. The brows will have more of an arch and are tapered and curve downwards. A clear gel was applied to both girls' brows when finished.

Before the makeup, it was time for the girls to have their first makeup lessons. The salon experts began with a general description of why girls use makeup and explained briefly the purposes of various type of makeup.

Ashley and Nikki said "Welcome to the glamorous, sometimes complicated world of femininity. Remember that inner beauty counts the most and that makeup is to make your face look special. You're going to have a lot of fun mixing and matching colors and shades to creating many different looks and effects."

"For your face, you will probably need concealer, foundation and powder to make your skin look flawless. It's important to get a color closest to your skin color. Concealer comes in liquid or coverstick form. It is used to spot treat darkened area under the ideas or to cover blemishes. Both of your skin conditions are very clear and we won't need to use any concealer now."

"Foundation goes over the face to make your skin look uniform and smooth. It comes in liquid, cremes or powder. There is oil free for oily skin conditions and water-based for combination skin."

"Powder can be applied over foundation to help set it, but its main purpose is to help keep your face looking fresh as the day wears on. Usually it is found in portable packages or compacts and is loose or pressed. Pressed powder is neater to use and usually lasts longer. If nothing else is available, baby powder can also be used for this purpose."

"Next is arguably the most fun type of makeup, eye makeup. The three most common forms are eye shadow, mascara and eye liner. With a simple sweep of a sponge tipped applicator or a cute little brush, you can go from the sweet innocent girl next door to the sophisticated career woman, the boss of the company. Eye shadow goes on each entire lid, in the crease and sometimes in the space between the lids and the eyebrows. It comes in various colors, combinations, and forms including pencil, powder or liquid. Shadow can be in creme, powder or pencil forms. Mascara is used to make your eyelashes stand out. The standard black is most common, but colors can also be used to make bolder statements. It comes in a tube with a straight or curved wand. The shape of the wand is a matter of preference and you will want to experiment with both. For longer lasting mascara you will want to try the waterproof types. Eyeliner's purpose is to enhance the size and shape of the eyes. It can be in many colors and forms including pencil, powder or liquid. It is usually applied to the top lid, but lining the top and bottom can have a dramatic effect. Since yours is a younger image, Lauren, we won't use any liner on your eyes."

"Lipstick and lipliner are the two basics of lip makeup. They should blend together. Lipsticks can be matte or creme that come in the famous lipstick tubes although they can also be in a compact. Gloss lipstick comes in little pots or tubes and is applied with a wand. Lipliner goes around the perimeter of your lips and is used to define them and keep lipstick in its place. It usually comes in pencil form. Lipstick will cling to the liner and be less likely to rub off or bleed."

"Blush should go on after all of your other makeup. It is the finishing touch and should match the rest of your makeup. Choose a blush color that would resemble the color of your cheeks after you've exercised. Anything darker will look false. Blush comes in powder and gel/creme form. Powder is easier for beginners because it is easier to brush on and it doesn't get streaky. Gel is good for daywear, because it gives you a fresh and dewy look. A touch of glitter can also be an unusual effect. Just don't overdo it."

"Now let's get started. Lauren, being younger, will want a soft, innocent and totally feminine look. Usually your makeup is very subtle, but we will experiment a little more for this special time. Kristen, you'll definitely get the glamour treatment. We will start off by using an eyelash curler to bring out the length and curl of your lovely lashes"

Foundation was next. Lauren's foundation was Cover Girl Clean Makeup in Soft Honey shade and the powder was Cover Girls Pressed Powder in Buff Beige.

Kristin used two Maybelline products, EverFresh foundation in Natural Beige and Pressed Powder in Natural Beige. The salons technique was to first dip a cotton swab into the bottle and to use the swab to draw a thin line across the forehead, down the center of the nose, across the cheeks in a zig-zag pattern and across the chin. A smidgen was dabbed on the eyelids. Now using a sponge application, the foundation was smoothed toward the hairline and was gently blended into the skin. To avoid a mask effect, the jawline and neck were also included. After the foundation, powder was applied to the face to set it in place. The girls were given small compacts for shine emergencies and touchups.

Eyeshadow was applied with the darker shades in the crease, and the lid and brow bone highlighted with the lighter shades. CoverGirl 3 Kit Shadows in Shimmery Sands was chosen for Kristin and J.a.n.e Eyezing Duos were chosen for Lauren.

 

For Lauren, the mascara chosen was Hi-fiber Mascara in Basic Black by J.a.n.e. Maybellines Great Lash in Blackest Black was selected for Kristin. To build longer lashes they concentrated on using upward strokes. If they twirl the wand from side to side they created volume. A light coat was also be applied to the lower lashes. You need to be careful of smudges when applying mascara. Eyeliner was applied as a thin line at the base of the eyelids. It is best to start at the inside corner and to work outward. Kristin's eyes were highlighted using Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eyeliner in Black.

 

Lauren's lips were lined and glossed with Clearly Pink Glossy Gloss by J.a.n.e. Revlons Super Lustrous Creme lipstick in Cherry Snow was applied to Kristen's lips. The lips are outlined first and then lipstick is applied by filling in the outline. Then they pressed a one ply tissue over the lips to blot them. A light dusting of pressed powder was dabbed on and more lipcolor was then reapplied.

For Lauren's cheeks J.a.n.e Blushing Cheeks blush in Blushing Blossom was sweep lightly over the apple on her cheeks to get just a bit of glow. Glimmer Lights powder in Barely Blushing was also applied with a delicate puff to her cheeks and a bit on her eyelids. Cover Girl's Cheekers blush in Brick Rose was brushed onto Kristin's cheeks and blended with a sponge.

For a final touch, both were spritzed with enchanting scents, Barbie Princess for Girls perfume on Lauren and a spritz of Tommmy Girl on Kristin.

"It's time to get you dressed. Take off the headbands and go to the changing room. Your coming out fashions have been planned for weeks, they are hanging in the room. Put your tights back on and get changed. Help each other if you need it. When you are all finished, announce yourselves and we will be waiting your presence out in the room." said Kristen's girlfriend Amanda.

They entered the changing room, they took off the robes and slipped their tights back on. Hanging up on one side of the room was a frilly full petticoat and a very feminine party dress. It was a pink taffeta, knee length dress with appropriate sash and sleeves. It was edged in pink embroidered bridal lace and had 3/4 length puffy sleeves. A pair of lacy socks and shiny black Mary Janes were next to the dress. A matching hair ribbon was also included. This was definitely Lauren's. For Kristin there was a short sleeved classic stretch shirt in lavender and a lustrous, slightly A-line sateen skirt in white with side slits at the bottom. Both of the items were from the Gap. There was a pair of black clunky shoes with straps that many young girls wear. Two purses with makeup and other girly items inside were included.

Both of the boys/girls were so confused and frightened about what had happened to them but they both agreed that it would be best to follow through. Inside they knew that they really wanted to go this next step and really feel what it was like to dress from the inside out. After about twenty minutes they announced that they were ready.

Their girlfriends Amanda and Meghan replied, "You're both going to have to do that again. This time, we want to her your girl voices and we want you to announce your new names. We also want you to tell us how happy you are that we are bringing out your secret inner selves."

After a few minutes the new girls called out in sweet angelic voices, "This is Lauren and Kristin. We girls would most kindly like to thank you for changing us and we hope you will continue to teach us. We enjoy our frilly clothes and our precious makeup. Can we come out now?"

Assembled in the room were Mrs. Harper, her daughter Katie, girlfriends Amanda and Meghan and all the salon staff. As the two girls came out, a large sigh went out and there was applause. The girls joined their female companions and there was a big group hug. The girls looked darling. Everyone in the room had had a makeover so it was a place filled with great beauties. It was clear that Lauren and Kristin were the fairest of all.

While they had been getting made over, Mrs. Harper and her daughter had been doing a little shopping. "Girls, we brought you a few things for the next day or so. We want you to pack them into these two overnight bags."

There on the counter were two 3 packs of Hanes Girls' Sporty Briefs in assorted patterns and colors. There were also 2 Teenform T-Back Sports Bras of 90% Cotton and 10% Lycra. For Lauren there was a pink Rib Cami Top and a pair of 50% polyester 50% cotton jersey knit shorts. There was a silvery glitter princess graphic on the shorts. A pair of flip flops completed the outfit.

For Kristin there was an aqua Baby Tee with a glittery Girls Rule graphic on it. Included was a pair of basic black capris. A pair of cotton socks and a pair of cheerleader type sneakers were next to the outfit. There were two Best Friend necklaces and a few girly rings that were on the table for them.

Also there were two very satin 2 piece sleepwear sets from Joe Boxer. One had pictures of Hello Kitty all over it and the other had the word Tweety on top and patterns of the yellow canary all over the bottoms.

"After we take you out to dinner, we have a surprise for you. Amanda and Megan have arranged for a slumber party in your honor at Megan's house. Many of the girls from school have been invited. They would like a preview of the girlieness that they suspect may also be inside their brothers. I know you'll have a great time with makeup games, hair and fashion demonstrations along with the ever popular and embarrassing rounds of Truth or Dare. Your sister Katie will also be there with two of her cheerleader friends. You part of the Girl Army now."

Katie spoke up," By the way don't get too used to your current roles. Your girlfriends have made it clear that you'll be switching back and forth in your ages. I hope I can keep straight who is my older and who is my younger sister now. Anyway, I know you'll both need to get plenty of new clothes so that means we'll be doing some major shopping."

The new girls just stared, their minds filled with feminine thoughts and quite amazed at what had happened to turn their lives completely upside down in just one day. The door of the salon opened. "Speaking of the cheerleaders", three of Katie's cheerleading teammates bounced into the room. They were all smiles and were carrying two complete sets of cheerleader uniforms with them.
