Jessika went first "I am thankful that the Powers of Goodness have given me the gifts necessary to serve the people. I live by My Mother's example. Thank You Momma."

Jessica and I stepped Up "The powers of goodness have led us to where we have been needed and that Our Mother has instilled in us the values to help our fellow Man." Momma Shannon blushed, and waved as we returned to our table the applause was tremendous.

As we reached our table a Woman wearing a dress that was almost the same as ours attacked me, pulling my hair saying "It has to be a wig, and She probably had surgery done for those Breasts."

Once She found that my hair was real She grabbed the top of my dress. Tearing it down to my waist before I could grab Her wrists and hold her away from me. I asked, "What is Your problem Lady?"

As I held Her hands above Her head one of the Policemen there came up "We can take it from here Miss."

I let Him lead me away to the ladies room. I went inside and repaired my dress as much as I could without causing suspicion. I returned to Glenn "Thank You Darling. My Knight in Shining Armor, Can I wear your jacket until we leave."

"Sure Shanon, Are You Okay?"

"Just fine, now." I melted into His arms and kissed Him passionately. When we returned to the main hall Papa John was just leaving the podium.

Back at the table I asked "Momma Shannon could you put my corsage in my hair, Please?"

Papa John broke in "Ladies' your adoring fans call." We sat up and listened.

They were chanting "Shanon" Momma Shannon and I stood up curtsied and waved.

The Governor came up "Are you all right Miss Yeager?"

"Yes Sir, Just a little surprised, Thank you for asking."

He Offered "I can arrange for a police escort, and a limo for You and Your family."

I replied "Thank You Sir, but an escort is not necessary. I can take care of myself as long as I stay on my guard. I would not be much of a Medal of Valor recipient if I needed police protection."

The Governor remarked "Mr. and Mrs. Yeager, Shanon is a very remarkable Young Woman and Mr. Yeager if You need any help getting all the photographs of the incident call the number on this card."

Papa John accepted the card and remarked "Thank You Mr. Brown, I do not expect any problems. It is nice of you to offer your assistance."

The Governor expressed "It was a real pleasure meeting all of you tonight and a real honor to have bestowed you with the Medal of Valor. Good night, and may the rest of Your evening still be a pleasurable remembrance." The Governor turned and was escorted from the building.

As we got up to leave two young Men, one with brown hair and gold eyes, the other with black hair and blue eyes. Both of them looked like muscle beach regulars came up to me holding out a pen and paper asking, "May we have your autograph Shanon?"

I started to protest. Then noticed that they had given Me Polaroid pictures of me holding the `Lady ' who had attacked me off the floor and my breasts were fully exposed. I remarked "I will be happy to give you an autograph, and send you a picture of me in a bathing suit. I think we will hold on to these." I handed them to Momma Shannon and grabbed two linen napkins. As I finished they protested "But we took those photos ourselves. They belong to us."

"I am sorry I just do not feel comfortable having pictures of me like that floating around. If you will tell Me Your Names and give us your addresses I will send you a picture that you will find a prize and I can live with. You will also get these napkins personally made out."

A policeman came over and asked "Miss Yeager is everything okay?"

"I think everything will be all right. We are working out a trade."

The Young Men complained "We just want Our Polaroid’s back you can keep your silly autograph."

Papa John remarked "The laws of The State of California pictures of a minor in the state of undress that My Daughter was in at the time of the photos in question. May be confiscated by the parent or legal guardian of the child. The holder can be charged with child pornography. Which can carry a minimum sentence of ten years. A minor can be remanded to juvenile hall until his nineteenth birthday."

The Young Men said "Oh, Uh is it to late to get your autograph and the picture of you in a swimsuit?"

Papa John glared at Them, I interceded "Sure Just tell Me Your names and write down Your addresses. I will send you each a picture."

The one with gold eyes expressed "My name Is Doc Savage, My parents thought it would be cool. Sorry about how I acted, I should not have treated you like that."

The black haired one remarked apologetically "I am Rick Jones, please forgive my juvenile actions. You are a true lady, and a fine example to live by."

After personalizing their napkins and getting their addresses, We started towards the door.

As We approached the exit a Man in a trench coat with Four cameras around His neck stopped Us "Hello, I am Marl Flynn. I have a deal to offer my two rolls of film for an exclusive swimsuit pictorial shoot. I will supply the swimsuit's."

Papa John was ready to slug Him when Momma Shannon proclaimed "John let Shanon make the decision after all We know Mr. Flynn's business and can always bring a lawsuit against Him later."

I was surprised "Thank You Momma, Mr. Flynn I think that is an acceptable offer. I get final approval on what swimsuit's I will pose in. Is that all right Daddy?"

"Yes Princess, that is fine I trust your judgment, and Mr. Flynn if you will hand over your film now I will also accept your offer."

"I will give up my film when I finish the swimsuit shots. Otherwise I have no guarantee that Shanon will follow through with Her end of the deal."

"Mr. Flynn I will not back out of a deal made in good faith. My word is your bond."

"I would really rather has it in writing. If you don't mind?"

"Very well but I will be less tolerant about what suits I will wear and if I do not feel I can wear any of them Our contract shall be void. How does that sound? Shall I still have My Lawyer Father write it down?"

Mr. Flynn gulped "Uh. No your word is fine, here's my film. Now if you will tell me your address I will contact you later to select a date?"

Papa John handed Him one of His cards "You can call me at my office tomorrow, and we will talk."

Mr. Flynn walked away. Papa John continued "Shanon that was great how you handled Mr. Flynn. You showed great poise in dealing with Him. I am very pleased with your actions tonight. It makes me very proud to have such adult daughters."

"Daddy Puhlease I just did what You and Momma Expected of Me." As we stepped outside the news crews mobbed us.

The first question I heard was "Miss Yeager are you aware that `Celebrity Skin' has offered fifty thousand dollars for any pictures of you?"

"Wow, really, Maybe I should sell the ones I have, Not a chance. It is sad that they wish to profit from my being victimized. I can only hope that the people who have photos of the incident will find it in their hearts to stop my victimization, and destroy the pictures of the incident. If these picture do get printed I have nothing to be ashamed of I was attacked and only defended Myself. With the strength of my family I will be able to see the good in this. May the Goddess bless all those who are showing respect for me now and feel for me? I only hope there is Help for the woman who attacked me, so She may be healed of her hatred."

Our limo had been waiting for us and everyone but Momma Shannon, Glenn and myself had gotten in. When I finished Momma Shannon and Glenn each grabbed an arm and escorted me to the Limo. We conversed casually on the way home. Dropping Mr. Ishibashi off at the Young's.

Papa John announced "You Ladies may go out for Ice cream with Your Dates My treat. Just be home before midnight."

He handed Jessica a twenty we responded "Thank You Daddy, Love you lots." As we hugged Him. After we dropped Momma Shannon and Papa John off. We went on to `Ruby's' on the way I fixed my dress the rest of the way so I could give Glenn back His jacket.

As we got out of the limo I surprised Glenn by shrugging of His jacket and handing it to Him "Thank You Darling I feel safe again you can have your jacket back."

Glenn remarked "But I thought your dress was torn."

"It really was not very damaged I was just feeling exposed and Your Jacket made me feel safer."

Glenn put His jacket on, and placed his arm around me declaring "Roy lets go in and show everyone how lucky we are." Inside every eye was on us, work came to a halt.

We walked to the counter Jessica and I Ordered "Two hot fudge sundaes, extra nuts, whip cream and a cherry, Please."

Glenn requested "A chocolate chip Boston, double chip."

Roy added, "That sounds good make it two Boston's. That order is for here."

 

Jessica paid for it. They gave us a number to place on our table. We went to the dining room and found a table. Before I sat down I grabbed Glenn, tilted His head up and kissed Him passionately.
