Cheryl

by Jennifer White

Rob was walking home from high school, thinking of Andrea, who sat next to him in math class. He was thinking of her skirt, her legs, her big tits, and most of all, her center, between her legs. He wanted her so much! His raging hormones wouldn't let her get far out of his mind.

Like many teenagers, he was not always considerate. He was chewing gum as he walked, but tired of it, so he spit it out on the sidewalk.

"You shouldn't do that young man" said an old lady, who was sitting on the front porch of her house. Rob just shrugged his shoulders.

"Please pick it up" she said.

"Yeah, right" he said, and walked on. The old lady mumbled something, and waved her fist at him. He just laughed and ignored her.

As he walked, Rob suddenly felt a chill breeze, and shivered all over. The sky was gray, and it had rained earlier. He kept walking, but suddenly his legs seemed very cold.

Ahead a puddle of water covered most of the sidewalk, so he moved to the left side. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught something strange in the reflection in the puddle. He looked down at it, and gasped.

The face staring back at him was not his own. It was fine. It was soft. It was *pretty*. He reached up in disbelief, and felt the long black hair that streamed down to his shoulders.

His shoulders! They were small and petite! Gone were his strong youthful muscles. Instead, he was slim and lithe. He looked down further, hoping against hope that the reflection was a lie. But it was not. He cupped his hands over his chest, over his new large breasts.

He could feel the bra beneath his sweater holding them up. No! This couldn't be! But somehow, it was. He was stacked, just like Andrea. Maybe even more than her.

He looked down, and saw that he was wearing a skirt now. The breeze blew on his bare legs, and he could feel it swirl up inside the skirt, chilling him. That's why his legs felt cold.

His legs! They were so alluring, just like Andrea's. They led up into the nether regions of his skirt, where he felt the panties he was wearing. He touched himself on his crotch, feeling for his bulge between his legs. There was none. It was all gone.

"I have a pussy" he thought. "No! This can't be happening!"

But his dainty hand wasn't wrong. Between his legs, there was only the *female* genitalia. He had a pussy. Which meant that he wasn't a he anymore. He was a girl.

"I'm a girl..." he whispered, hearing his soothing high pitched voice. "Oh god. No!"

He spun around, and felt his skirt brush his legs as is spun around after him. And he felt his long hair fly around too. He was a girl now! A real girl!

He hurried back to the old lady. She must have done this to him! But he couldn't tell which house was hers.

"It must be the one with the gum on the sidewalk" he thought, but as he searched, there wasn't any to be found.

He had no idea what to do, so he turned back, and continued home. Maybe his parents would know what to do. He was scared out of his mind. Something like this was impossible. It could not be true. How could he possibly be a girl?

* * *

Rob walked in the door, and found his mother at the kitchen table, chopping the veggies for dinner.

"Yes? Can I help you dear?" she said. "Rob's not home yet. Are this Andrea that I've heard so much about?"

"No mom, it's me! Rob!"

"Very funny young missy. Did he put you up to this?"

"No, really mom! It's true! As I was walking home, something happened to me! I'm really Rob, but I'm a girl now! I don't understand, but its real!"

"If you're Rob, then tell me something. What was your favorite birthday gift?"

"My train set."

"What's your favorite meal?"

"Your spaghetti."

"When is your dad's birthday?"

"How should I know? I'm not good with dates. October something?"

"Rob? Is that really you?"

"Yes mom, it is. I know it seems impossible, but you've got to believe me!"

"I do dear. I believe you."

"Good. You've got to help me!"
"I will dear. I've always wanted a daughter. I'll help you learn how to be a girl. I'll help you learn how to put on makeup, what to say to boys, and how to behave. We can go out shopping for clothes for you. Won't that be fun?"

"No mom, I need you to help me become me again!"

"But this is who you are now, isn't it? Now lets see. Your father wanted to name you Rob, after his grandfather. But if you were a girl, we were going to name you Cheryl. So I guess that will be your name now."

"You're not going to help me?"

"Yes I am dear. There is a lot to learn about being a girl. And I will help you Cheryl. I promise I will."

'Cheryl' began to cry.

"See dear? Tears come easier when you're a girl. I see that you're adjusting all ready. I guess it will take some time for your brain to change, and for you to start thinking and feeling like a girl. But I'm here to help you. We'll make a young lady out of you."

Rob's mother picked up the phone.

"I had better call your father at work" she said. She dialed the number, asked for her husband, and waited.

"Yes dear. Hello. Well, I have some news for you. It's about Rob. He got into some sort of trouble, and he's been turned into a girl! Yes, a girl. Yes dear, he's very pretty. Uh-huh. And I've told him that we'll start calling him Cheryl, since that was going to be the name we used if he had been born a girl. Yes, I see. OK. See you tonight my love."

"What did he say?" asked 'Cheryl'.

"He said he loves you very much, whether you're a boy or a girl. He said he looks forward to doing some father-daughter activities with you, and hopes that you'll grow up to be as lovely of a woman as your mother."

"He wouldn't say that!"

"He just did dear. Come on now Cheryl, why are you so upset about all this?"

"Because I've just become a girl!"

"And the problem is?"

"I'm a girl!!! I have these!" she said, pointing to her breasts.

"Oh, I see. Now look dear, many girls go through a period where they hate their bodies. But you're very pretty, and in time, you'll come to love yourself for who you are."

Their talk was interrupted by the doorbell ringing. Cheryl's mother went to answer it. She talked to the person at the door, then called out: "Honey, Andrea is here to see you!"

'Andrea? No! Not today!!' thought Cheryl.

"Hi, is Rob here?" asked Andrea. "I'm having some trouble in math class, and Rob's really smart at that, so I was going to ask him to help me a bit."

"I'm sorry dear, he's not home right now. This is Cheryl, his cousin from out of town, who is staying with us for a while. She's very good at math, and she'd be glad to help you."

"You would?" said Andrea, lighting up. "It would be so much easier learning from another girl."

"I'll leave you two alone to study" said Rob's mom, as she left for the kitchen.

The two girls got down to studying, with Andrea studying math, and Cheryl studying Andrea. When the finished the lesson, they chatted for a while.

"So tell me" said Cheryl, "what do you think of Rob?"

Rob was dying to know inside what Andrea thought. And what better chance would there ever be to ask her than this? Rob was stuck in a girl's body, but Andrea didn't know that. He could use this as an opportunity to find out all he could, so that when he went back to being himself, he'd have the inside angle on her!

"Well" said Andrea, "he's very nice, but a little shy. I like that he's smart, but I feel uncomfortable about the way he stares at me sometime, like I'm a piece of meat or something. Don't you hate it when boys just ogle you?"

"Oh yes" said Cheryl. She felt like kicking herself for having done that, if Andrea didn't like it.

"If he likes me so much, why doesn't he just come out and tell me? Why doesn't he ask me out? I'd go out with him, but its not like I can put the moves on him, and pick him up!"

"Its just boys" said Cheryl. "Most of them are like that. They're too scared. He told me he really likes you, but he's too scared to do anything, and is looking for a sign from you."

"Really? What kind of sign?"

"Something that shows that you're interested in him."

"Like coming over and asking him to help with my homework?" said Andrea.

Rob was just kicking himself inside again. Why did today have to be the day that he was turned into a girl? Here was the girl he had drooled over all year at school, all but saying that she wanted to be with him! But he was a girl now! It wasn't fair!

They chatted for a while longer, with Rob trying to learn all he could about her. When they were done, he tried something.

"Hey Andrea, I had a great time today. What do you say that we go hang out at the mall or something?"

"Sure!" she said, and they made their plans.

"Mom! I'm going to hang out with Andrea at the mall!" yelled Cheryl.

"Okay dear. Just be home at a reasonable hour!" she said.

"I thought you were Rob's cousin, but you called her 'mom'. What's up with that?"

"She's like a mother to me" said Rob, still not accepting his new name of Cheryl, "so I've always called her mom."

"That's so sweet!" said Andrea. The two girls walked to Andrea's house, so they could drop off her schoolbooks.

"Come on, let me show you my room!" said Andrea. "I need to change into something cooler if we're going to hang out. And I'll find something for you too. You look too tense in that outfit. You're my size, so we can find something for sure."

Rob was really excited now. He was going to get to see Andrea's room, and get to see her undress. It was like his wildest dream come true, except of course for the fact that he was a girl like her now too, and that she was going to dress him up in her clothes. So it was also his worst nightmare. But he couldn't' resist. He went up the stairs, and followed her into her room.

As soon as they got inside, Andrea locked the door.

"To keep out snooping little brothers" she said.

She opened her closet, and his eyes lit up when he saw all of the outfits she had worn to school every day, as he had eyed her. All of the cute skirts, the shoes, the sweaters.

"Here, try this on for size" she said, handing him a short black skirt and a top that was a little to racy for school.

He took off his clothes, and started to put on hers. He had wanted to 'get into her pants', but this wasn't what he had meant. It felt so strange to be wearing Andrea's clothes! It made him feel turned on inside, and his female body responded by lubricating.

He had heard girls in the movies or at school dances say 'you're getting me wet'. But to feel it himself...it was quite different than he would have expected.

He looked at Andrea, who was down to just her panties and her bra. She took off her bra, and hung it over the doorknob. She pulled out a pushup bra, and put that one on. Her boobs didn't need much in the way of enhancements, but they were just stunning now.

"I wish I had boobs as big as yours" she said to Cheryl, which made Rob jump inside. Being a guy inside, there were very few things she could have said to him that would have made him feel worse. He did have big breasts, just bursting out of his bra. Being a sexy girl made him feel very uncomfortable, and he tried not to think about it.

"Your breasts are very pretty. Most guys would love to have a girl with ones like you have."

Andrea was very nice, and grateful for the compliment. Cheryl didn't yet realize that even very beautiful women were insecure sometimes, and needed constant reminders. That was why sometimes a gorgeous woman would end up with a so-so man. He knew how to treat her right. And Andrea was insecure.

Rob was kicking himself. If he had just asked her out, and told her how wonderful she was, she would have fallen in love with him! But he had been too shy.

Now that they were both dressed up in something sexier.

"Can I do up your hair? Its so long, and so cute" said Andrea.

"Sure!" said Cheryl. Again, Rob inside felt so strange, as the girl of his dreams played with his long hair, and French braided it. Andrea then did her nails, and showed her the latest fad in makeup.

"Now we're ready" said Andrea.

"Cool" said Cheryl.

"Lets go make some boys at the mall drool!" she said.

Boys? Rob was definitely *not* interested in that, but he almost gasped out loud at the reaction his body had. His body, that of a young female just coming into sexual maturity, was full of raging female hormones. And it was more than interested in sex.

Rob turned around, and followed Andrea out the door, his eyes fixed on her short skirt, which barely covered her butt. It was hard not to think about the fact that he was a girl now, dressed up as sexy as she was. It was hard to ignore the feeling of his breasts jiggling with every step he took. They filled the cups of his bra, and their weight made the straps pull down onto his shoulders. Every movement, every breath, every action constantly reminded him that he was now a girl.

* * *

They got into Andrea's car, and drove off to the mall.

"I get so tired of boys saying that girls are bad drivers. Don't you hate that?" said Andrea.

"Oh yes" agreed Rob, wondering if he had ever said that.

"They're always telling me: you're just a girl, you can't do that. I get so tired of it."

"I hate that too" said Rob. Had he treated girls like that? He didn't think so, but he hoped not. If he had, it wasn't a conscious choice.

They pulled into the mall, and walked in. Rob wondered what store they would go into. But instead of a store, Andrea headed over towards the food court. There was a group of other girls that Rob recognized from school.

"Hey, Andrea!" said the one named Brittany.

"Hey yourself" she said.

"Who's your friend?" said Ashley.

"I'm Cheryl" said Rob, careful not to give away his real name.

"Oh, what a little hottie you are" said Monica.

"Yeah. The guys will go ga-ga over you."

"If they don't just stand there staring at your tits" said Julia.

They all laughed, so Rob laughed too.

Now the gossip started. They talked about boys at school, and Rob learned something interesting. As a boy, he had looked at the girls, knowing that they held the key to picking who would hook up with who. It was really the girl's choice. So he thought of them as somehow more mature, knowledgeable, and on top of things.

But as they talked, he realized that they didn't know everything about guys. They had some misconceptions, but he wasn't eager to clear them up, because that would give away who he really was. It was interesting to learn that the girls were just as scared as the guys were, and in some cases, even more so.

A guy risks rejection if he asks a girl out, which is more than some guys can handle. But if nobody asks a girl out, she feels unwanted. So in a way, it is harder on her than it is on the guy! He hadn't realized this. He was learning so much about girls!

He jumped in, and did some talking too, so he wouldn't seem out of place. Sometimes, they all talked at once, sometimes one at a time. It was dizzying, but as soon as he got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun!

They group would check out every guy that walked by, then talk about him after he was gone. That was the hardest part for Rob, but he hung in there.

After a while, a couple of the girls took off, so Andrea and Cheryl went into a couple of stores. They looked at a lot of things, but as with most teens, money was tight. So Andrea only bought a bottle of nail polish and a T-shirt that said "I Recycle Boys", with a recycling logo in the middle.

Rob/Cheryl felt a really strong urge to buy something, so he picked out a lipstick. His body had female sexual urges, and now he felt this other urge, which was different from anything he had ever felt before. If he was starting to have feminine feelings....it was way too frightening of a destiny to even think about. He just concentrated on Andrea.

Andrea wanted to cruise by the arcade to see what guys were hanging around there, so the went off to the east end of the mall. Inside, they watched one guy who she thought was cute, as he played a video game. He beat the boy he was playing, then turned to the crowd, all cocky.

"Anybody else want to lose? That's it? Everyone is afraid of me?"

Nobody moved. They were too frightened.

"I could beat him" said Cheryl to Andrea.

"No you couldn't" said the boy.

"Why? Because girl's can't play video games?" said Cheryl. She was going to show him up. She was an expert at that game. It would impress Andrea, who had talked about boys putting down girls all the time.

They played, and Cheryl kicked the boys butt. The crowd of boys watching cheered, as she put her hands in the air, triumphant. And they watched her chest bounce as she jumped for joy. The cocky boy had to slink away in shame.

"Why did you do that!" hissed Andrea.

"What do you mean? I put him in his place!" said Cheryl, triumphantly.

"Great. Now he's all upset, and feels crappy because he was beaten by a girl. Now I'll never get him to talk to me."

"But I thought you were tired of boys who think girls can't do things."

"I am! But sometimes, you need to let them win, so they think they're better than you. They won't ask you out if they're intimidated by you. And now he'll hate me, because I brought you here."

"I'm so sorry!" said Rob. "If you would have told me that it was him you were after. I didn't know. Please forgive me?"

Andrea thought for a second.

"What are friends for? And he couldn't even beat a girl at a video game!"

They laughed, and headed to her car.

* * *

They drove back to Rob's house, where Andrea was going to drop of 'Cheryl'. They talked for a while in the car before they parted.

"You know my cousin Rob" said Cheryl, "he really likes you. He has told me a lot about you, and I think he's in love with you. He's just too shy to ask you out. When I tell him that I spent the day with you, he's going to crazy. So what should I tell him?"

"Tell him to give me a call some time" she said.

Cheryl smiled. Now *that* was something good to hear.

"Thanks for everything tonight. I had a wonderful time" she said.

"Me too" said Andrea. "Next time you're in town, look me up!"

"I sure will"

Cheryl sadly went back into the house.

"So, how is daddy's little girl?" asked her father.

"Oh dad" she said.

"What did you do tonight dear?" asked her mother.

"I hung out with Andrea. We got dressed up, went to the mall, hung out with the girls, did some shopping, talked about boys."

"See honey? You're a typical girl already. I knew that you were meant for this. I'm so glad you're my daughter now! I love you."

"I love you too mom" said Cheryl, giving her a hug.

She went up to bed, and chose one of Rob's oversized nightshirts to sleep in. She thought that it was funny how in the past few hours, she had started to think of herself as Cheryl, instead of as Rob. It was like he was a different person. But she would go back to being him, she was sure.

Either in the morning, she would wake up as Rob, or else she would track down the old lady. She went to sleep with a smile on her face.

* * *

In the morning, Cheryl woke up, and knew immediately that she was still a girl. She didn't even have to feel herself; she just knew that she was a girl. It was no longer scary or terrifying, it was just who she was. It had taken a while to adjust to this, but she looked forward to going back to being Rob again.

She got dressed, and walked towards the school. She was very careful to look at every house, until she found the exact one where she had spat the gum on the sidewalk, back when she had been Rob.

Up on the porch was an old lady.

"Excuse me ma'am, do you recognize who I am?"

"I certainly do" she said. "You're the boy I turned into a girl. Listen dear, why don't you come in?"

Cheryl came in and sat down with her.

"Iced tea?" said the old lady. Cheryl thought that it would be a nice gesture to drink some with her, so she did. It didn't taste very good, but many old folks had strange tastes. Like those licorice candies her grandfather had loved. Yuck!

"I really learned my lesson" she said, as she sipped the iced tea, not wanting to offend her hostess. "I really hated being a girl at first, but I've learned so much! I promise that I'll never be a bad boy again. You've taught me my lesson."

"That's very nice dear" said the old lady. "I see that you really do understand now, that that you're truly learned your lesson."

Cheryl smiled. The old lady had such a kind heart.

"Unfortunately," continued the old lady, "you're not going back to being a boy. Not today, not ever."

"Please!" begged Cheryl. "I think I have Andrea talked into wanting to date Rob! I'll do anything! I promise! Please change me back into him!"

"On the contrary" said the old lady. "You will never be a boy again. In fact, you are drinking a potion I created, just for you. It is effecting you inside, in your mind. Once it has done its work, you will *want* to be a girl. You will *want* to stay as you are, and never ever go back. You will be *glad* that you are a girl."

"No!" said Cheryl, her eyes opened wide with fear. "You can't do that to me!"

"I already have" said the old lady. "Feel how you're changing inside, even as we speak. Feel how your very heart has changed, and how you are becoming feminine, down to your soul."

"No!" protested Cheryl, but she knew that she was wrong. She knew that the old lady was right, and she *was* rapidly changing inside. She could feel it.

"What do you want more than anything when you grow up?" asked the old lady.

"I want to have a baby. I want to be a mother" said Cheryl, much to her surprise. But it was true! That really was her deepest wish. And if she wanted to have a baby...that meant that she *wanted* a man. No! But it was true. She imagined holding her little baby in her arms. She wanted to much to get pregnant some day. It had been her dream....since she was a little girl. She could remember it!

"Aren't you glad you're a girl?" said the old lady.

"Yes ma'am. I would hate to be a boy. Being a girl is *so* much better! I just love it!"

"See?" said the old lady. "You really are a girl."

Cheryl nodded. It was true. She really did *love* being a girl, and the thought of wanting to be a guy was alien to her now. Why would any girl want that? Guys were for taking you out on dates, and for loving you. Why in the world would she ever want to *be* a guy? Ew!

"So you are a girl" said the old lady again.

"Of course I am? How could I be anything else? This is who I've always been."

"Good. That's what I thought."

Cheryl drank the last of her iced tea. She took the old lady's cup, went to the kitchen, rinsed them out, and put them in the dish washer.

"I need to get along to school" said Cheryl.

"Yes you do dear. I've called ahead, and told them that you are going to take all of the classes that Rob was registered for."

"Awesome! I'll get to sit next to Andrea."

"You two girls will be good friends for a long time to come."

Cheryl thanked the old lady for the iced tea, and left for school. She skipped along with a smile on her face, feeling the wind in her hair and under her skirt. It was a great day to be alive, and a great thing to be a girl.

There was a big dance on Friday that week. She hoped that somebody cute would ask her out...
