Chapter 3

 

Upon rising the next morning, Terri admired herself in the mirror. Just looking at herself in the mirror, she noticed she began to think of herself as female. Although she had removed her makeup, the waterproof mascara the girls had put on her remained and still enhanced her eyes. She noticed that the arch in your eyebrows gave her a feminine look. Karen explained each step as she applied the foundation, blush, eyeshadow, added a little more mascara and dusted Terri's face with powder. Once she was finished it was time to get dressed.

"Come with me into the bedroom and we will find something casual" Karen said. Terri rose from her seat and followed Karen into the bedroom with Heidi following.

"I like that yellow tank top" Terri said. "That will look great on you" Heidi said, "We'll have to get you one of your own today. They have a short heel but it will give you a chance to get used to walking in heels."

"Terri, we are going to have to get your ears pieced today. You'll love wearing earrings" Heidi said.

"I am really excited about this. It's going to be fun" Terri said.

"It sure will be, one of the great pleasures of being a girl" Karen agreed, "Let's get going."

Karen and Heidi grabbed their purses and the three girls headed out the door. Heidi drove as the three girls headed for the shopping center. At a stop light Karen noticed two guys giving them the once over. "I think they are looking at you, Terri" Karen offered. "I bet" Terri laughed. "No, I'm serious. "It's nice that you noticed they were good looking", Karen said. "They were nice too. Another time we might have let them pick us up."
