Banker Business by: Paul G Jutras
A neon sign showed into the one room apartment of Jack Tompkin. With a 4 am alarm, Jack yawned and raised from bed. He quickly showered, shaved and dressed in his finest suit. He hated getting up so early, but it took hours to get to work.
"You're late, Jack." Carl Standford said as Jack took off his hat and coat and sat down at his desk. "Mrs. Witchwalk been waiting for five minutes."
Jack hated his work and missed his old teen days of dates, short working hours and summers off. He remembered that hardly a weekend went by when he didn't have a date.
"Sorry about keeping you waiting, Mrs Witchwalk." Jack said with a yawn. "Boy do I miss my teen years."
"Heh, Heh." Mrs Witchwalk laughed. "Here my granddaughter can't wait to grow up and get a real job. I should use my magic to make you swap lives."
"That would be fantastic." Jack decided to humor the old lady as he got the forms to invest her money where she wanted. He then went to the next costumer and the next until closing time.
At 5pm, Jack yawned and drove home. He didn't even bother to undress when he flopped on the bed and fell asleep. He didn't even notice a strange mist that passed into the open window and passed over him.
The alarm went off a 4am and Jack woke up to brush lnog brown hair out of his green eyes. As he rolled out of bed, he felt a strangeness at his chest and an empyness between his legs. He then notice his breasts were covered with a green tank top that left his mid section bare and a pair of black leather pants. His fingers and toes were painted pink.
"Greetings, Jack, or should I call you Julie now?" Mrs. Witchwalk asked as she stepped into the room. "You got your wish to be a kid again."
"I was joking." Jack stood confused as he looked his slim body over in the mirror. "I didn't tihnk you'd be able to do it."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Mrs. Witchwalk said. "I can't reverse the spell, its perminate. If you want to see your old self, I'll save my next banking job for the weekend."
The new Julie spent the next couple of hours finding out why it takes women so much longer to get ready in the morning. Jack had just finished a pop tart when he heard a car horn.
"Better get going, dear." Jack's new mother said as he had to get a ride to school from Julie's boyfriend. As the day went on, Jack soon found himself really getting into girltalk in the girls bathroom and locker room. He enjoyed being a cheerleader and doing splits without hurting himself.
As the weekend came, Julie and Todd went on a date. He took who he thought was his girlfriend to lover's lane. As Todd came on to Jack, he found himself giving in to his new female desires and his new life. At least one thing would be the same. Jack would still never have to worry about not having a date. He wondered if they'd make a good highschool prom king and queen.
