The Aphrodite Clinic                            by: Paul Jutras

Jeff always wanted to be a girl since he was six and started going around in his twin sisters dress. He had such long hair that he could easily go outside and anyone who saw him thought he was Karen and didn't think twice. He had such fun going shopping in dresses and putting on make up.

As Jeff got older he felt peer pressure from his friends to join the dating circle. "Hey Jeff," Tim would say. "Get a load of that beautiful red head. If you don't ask her out, I'll just have to steal her from you for the dance."

Knowing how embarrassed he'd feel if he didn't go to the dance, Jeff walked over and introduced himself. "I'm Jeff Collins." He said with a smile and holding out his hand. "What's yours?"

"Julie." She replied sweetly as she pressed her books up against her breasts. She always felt self conscience because they looked bigger to her than they actually were. "You're in my math class aren't you?"

"Yes." Jeff replied as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Julie, there's this dance tomorrow night and I was wondering if you didn't have a date that maybe...uh.. Well..."

"That I'd go out with you?" Julie answered with a sweet smile. Julie was pretty but not gorgeous like some of her friends. She rarely ever got asked out and excepted immediately. "I'd love to. Pick me up at seven okay?"

A he walked her to class. Jeff's friends just looked at one another and slapped themselves a high five for talking Jeff into asking her out. They cheered quietly to themselves. "Way to go, bro. I knew he had it in him."

When he got home that night, his father taught him how to dance. Jeff loved following in a dance more than leading and wish he could of been the girl being asked out. He hated even more when he finished dressing in the tux that he wore. Loose dresses were so much more comfortable in his mind.

Jeff and Julie had a wonderful time dancing together, but Jeff wished more that he could be Julie than anything. He knew that his parents were pleased that Jeff was seeing a girl regularly and wasn't worrying about catching him in a dress again.

After High School, they continued to date. One night when Jeff knocked on Julie's apartment door, he notice a note sticking out from under the flower pot on the window self. The note read:

DEAR JEFF,

WENT OUT FOR SOME SUPPLIES FOR DINNER, THE KEY IS HIDDEN IN THE USUAL PLACE. PLEASE LET YOURSELF IN AND MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME. BE BACK SOON.

LOVE,

JULIE

Jeff took the key and let himself in her apartment. He waited on the couch for a short time, then notice that a wardrobe door was open. Jeff got up, walked over to the wardrobe and pulled out a skirt and blouse. He then slipped out of his own clothes and put Julie's on. He had just finished changing when Julie walked in and stared in shock. The bag of food slipped from her hands to the floor. "Oh, my God!"

"Julie, please." Jeff said as he took her in his hands. "This is just a hobby that I always loved doing. It just who I am and will be. Can you forgive me?"

"Jeff. I love you." Julie said with a smile. "I don't care what you do as long as we can always be together."

A few years pass when Jeff finally got down on one knee and held up a ring. "Will you marry me Julie?" Jeff asked as she only smiled and slipped the ring on her finger. She leaned down and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Yes." She answered.

Jeff loved watching her shop for the wedding. Especially the wedding dress which he tried on himself when they were alone that night. He loved the feeling of Julie stripping the dress from his body as they made mad passionate love to one another. Especially on their wedding night.

The two weren't married long when Jeff notice a strange ad in the classifieds section of the news paper. A place known as The Aphrodite Clinic that gave gays and lesbians a chance to have the body they wanted by swapping with one another body.

"Julie, have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a man?" Jeff asked as he folded the paper and showed her the article. "Read this."

"You're not seriously suggesting that we swap bodies do you?" Julie protested. "I know about your hobby, but being a real woman is a lot more hard work than you think."

"Don't think you're man enough to handle being a man?" Jeff challenged.

"Alright, if that's what you want, honey." Julie said with a loving smile. "I'll remember to tell you I TOLD YOU SO when you realized it isn't all paradise."

The next day that Jeff had off, he and Julie showed up at the clinic and met with a blonde woman with beautiful taste in sexy clothes. "We have an appointment for a body swap." Jeff said the girl got up from her desk and lead them down the hall to a back room. The were giving some basic forms to fill out.

"Julie and Jeff." A doctor said a few minutes later as the couple got to their feet. "Please lay down on the table and we'll get started.

Julie was a little nervous but Jeff was excited. Hypo needles were injected into their necks with a connected tube. Chemicals flowed out of one body and into the other, taking their personalities or souls with them. The two felt dizzy and soon passed out. When they came two, their heads turned and they found themselves starring at their own bodies.

"You did it." Jeff said with Julie's voice as he reached into Julie's purse and paid the doctor with a check. For the next few weeks the two had fun. The made love constantly and didn't take any precautions. When Jeff started to get morning sickness, he went to the doctors to find out that Julie's body was pregnant.

Julie pampered her former body for the next nine months until Jeff gave birth to twins. That was when things started to change. Especially when the babies were brought home and it was time for the first nightly feeding. "No, I won't help!" Julie said laying in bed and staring at her own body. "You're the one who wanted to feel the joys of being a mother, now I you'll learn how hard it is. Just like I told you."

"I don't know it would be like this." Jeff complained, feeding one baby with a bottle while trying to support the other crying baby in her other arm.

Julie was glad to go to work. When she got home, he hung up his coat and started to complain right off "This place is a mess, Jeff and dinner hasn't even been started! Can't you even play house like the good girl you always wanted to be?"

"I'm sorry, Julie." Jeff said frustrated and exhausted as she stood surrounded by crying babies, clothes on an indoor wash line and baby toys. Jeff thought that being a woman was going to be all shopping and make up. That was laugh. Julie was so money tight that Jeff had become a prisoner at home. "Can't you see that I'm doing the best I can?"

As Julie looked after the babies, Jeff started getting dinner ready on the stove. His feet ache from the high heels he wore. Even though Jeff always thought Julie looked beautiful in heels, wearing them all day long was work in itself. "Formulas, baby baths and feedings, washing, cleaning and fixing all the meals day in and day out." Jeff wiped the sweat from his new forehead "I'm going out of my mind and Julie won't even pay for a baby sitter at night."

After dinner, Jeff simply gave Jeff a kiss and told him that she was going out. "Thanks for dinner honey." He said in a kind voice. "Sorry I can't stay, but I'm meeting the guys at the bar for the game on TV. The Russians are playing."

"That's Redskins, Julie." Jeff corrected her. "You don't even like football or know anything about it. Besides, you promised to stay home with the babies so I could go to the movies."

They were both a little surprise that after all the time Jeff spent in Julie's body that he still had enough maleness in him to read Julie the riot act. "Sorry, babe." Julie replied. "I've got to go. I'm sure the reason you're really crying is simply P.M.S. Why don't you take a couple of Midol and lie down. I'll arrange for you to meet with the clinic's transition counselors."

The next afternoon, the blonde Jeff had met when he first went to the clinic found him on a wooden bridge. "Jeff." She said kindly. "You were suppose to visit with the clinic this morning."

"I've been really distracted lately." Jeff stared blankly at his female reflection in the river below. "I can't believe it's been almost two years since Julie and I swapped bodies."

"Aren't you enjoying being a woman?" The counselor asked.

"Hardly!" Jeff snapped. "I thought it would be lots of shopping fun where I could wear dresses and make up any time I wanted. But all it turned out to be is a lot of hard work! I just hate being a woman! I tried to tell Julie but she doesn't care. She thinks I'm getting what I deserve since it was my idea to switch in the first place. She just tell me not to complain and do a wife's job."

"Oh, Jeff." The counselor touched her hand and smiled. "You really do deserve to be a woman. God, you sure do whine like a little girl."

"What are you talking about?" Jeff wiped away a tear. "I thought you were here to help me."

"I am." The counselor answered. "My advice is to get use to it. You're the one who asked for this. Not poor Julie. Now it's time you started to act like a woman and face up to your responsibilities as wife and mother."

The counselor turned Jeff around and pointed him toward home. "Now you march right back home, clean up your house and get food on that table." The counselor ordered. "And for God's sake, wear something sexy. You look awful. It's a wonder that Julie hasn't left you."

As Jeff sniffled away the last of his tears he nodded in agreement. The counselor had one last thing to say before Jeff left. "Too many men seem to think that being woman is nothing more than clothes and orgasms. That's why the Aphrodite Clinic has counselors in the facts of life. Our slogan is "Bring out the woman within," but our policy is "No Refunds And No Exchanges." And we stand by that fact. You're a woman now, Jeff and will be one forever."

THE END
