Part 2

Alex woke the next day and reluctantly started to get dressed for the first day of school. How would his friends react to his apparent feminization? Would they shun him or ignore it and still talk to him? He really wanted to wear something masculine but he didn’t have anything. Plus he had to wear the same school uniform that the rest of the girls would be wearing (other girls?). The only thought that cheered him up at all was the thought of seeing Ken wearing the same uniform. Ever since they meet at the beach he had not heard a word from Ken. Ken refused to talk to either him or Sarah. Alex had seen him a couple times and from the looks of it ‘Kendra’ was turning out to be quite a tomboy, he was never seen wearing anything remotely feminine other then girls jeans, never wore make-up. The only thing feminine was his hair, which was usually styled. Alex decided to delay the inevitable, put the uniform back in his closet and headed downstairs for breakfast wearing just his nightie.

 

 

 

Alex walked into the kitchen and started to fry some eggs. His sister and his mom both came in and they all had breakfast together. After clearing the table he headed upstairs to get dressed. Once he had put on the uniform he took a look in the mirror. He couldn’t believe hoe short the skirt was, but most importantly he couldn’t believe that he was going to wear it to school. He thought to himself while finishing his make-up, ‘at least I’m starting high school this year so not to many people will know me’. With that thought in mind he grabbed backpack and his purse and headed down the street to meet Sarah at her house before heading off to school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alex was in for a surprise when arriving at Sarah’s house. Waiting outside the door for Sarah was Kendra. She didn’t see Alex coming up the driveway. She was sitting on the second step down to the driveway reading what looked to Alex like the September issue of Cosmo Girl. A lot had changed since he had last seen Ken, his hair had been cut in a new style, his legs were shaved, he was wearing heels and even some make up. Ken noticed Alexis coming up the drive way and quickly tried to shove the magazine into his open backpack. He said "hey" to Alexis as she approached his. Realizing that that their little feud needed to end and seeing as they were both in the same situation they ought to stick together. "Hey to you" replied Alex as he thought of what to say. "DON’T YOU HATE THESE UNIFORMS" they both said at the same time, which was followed with some giggles, Which stopped as soon as they realized they were giggling. But someone else was still giggling. They both turn to se Sarah standing at her door giggling. She walked forward, grabbed them by they arms pulling them as she went. "Come on girls we gotta get to school"

 

 

 

 

 

When they arrived at school, they were surprised to find that the three of them had been placed in the same homeroom and assigned to adjacent lockers. The teacher introduced herself is Miss Thompson. She then proceeded to hand out all of their schedules and other forms. After an hour they were dismissed. "Will that was a waste of time, what do you want to do now?" "We should all just hang out, might be sitting job starts tomorrow, so we won't get to do this that often anymore".

They've decided to hang out at Kendra's house for the rest of the day. As they were debating what to eat for lunch, Ken's sister Jamie came in and asked what they were going to make her for lunch. "You can make your own lunch Jamie, your 12", "but you'd be the best big sister ever!" "That's what you said yesterday" "and I meant it too!" "Well your 'big sister' is going to make something for her and her friends" "you suck at being nice, I wish I didn't have a sister" "would you rather have a brother?" "NO!" Jamie left the room and the three decided to get a pizza and watch a movie. But first, went to change out of their uniforms.

Kendra told them to just grab something from her closet and to meet her downstairs. To say Alexis was surprised when she looked in Kendra's closet would be an understatement. Her closet was filled with skirts and dresses, flared jeans, capri’s, shorts, girls tops and more. Sarah answered Alex's puzzled looked by explaining that when Kendra finally accepted her feminine look about a week ago, her mom gave them money to get heard some new clothes and ever since he started dressing like a girl that Jamie had been pulling the 'big sister' act on him. Alex grabbed a pair of glittery pants and a green sweater. They finally changed and went downstairs.

 

 

They all headed out both the house and towards the video store. The pizza had been ordered and they had 30 minutes to get back. After 15 minutes of arguing day finally decided on a movie and headed to the front of the store. Day were using Alex's account so key gave his phone number, he was asked for his last name. "Summers" "and you're first name?" "Alexis" "I only have an Alex, is that you?" "Um, yeah" Alex was starting to get nervous. "And your middle made his Ryan?" the Store clerk said sarcastically. When Alex found his voice he replied, "Yes, it is actually" "I’ll need to see some ID please". Alex not sure exactly what to do, reached into his purse and pulled out his old and new birth certificate, and handed them to the clerk.

The clerk took a look at the cards he had been given. When he realized how similar those cards were a strange looked was given to Alexis. Alex was starting to feel very uneasy under his glare and finally blurted it out, "OK! What you're probably thinking it is right, I'm really a boy. I know I don't look like one, but I am. I had my name change. I used to be Alex Ryan Summers, but now I'm Alexis Rebekah Summers, so if you have a problem with who I am, that's your problem, but if you're gonna hassle us we'll go get a movie somewhere else." The clerk, now thoroughly embarrassed, quickly rang them through and finished the transaction. They left the store, Alex was in tears.

"Why does everything always happen to me? What did I do to deserve this? Wasn't having to live as a girl bad enough?" Sarah shot him and evil glance. "Don't be so harsh, he knows you're a boy, so what?" "So why? So within a couple of day is the whole city will think of some sort of freak." " I don't think he's going to tell anyone, didn't you notice how embarrassed he was?" "Still someone's going to find out and then I'll be screwed, I've covered might pass so well that I screwed myself in the process, I learned to mimic the way girls act and appeared to everyone in the same way they do, as just a girl. Now I naturally act as a girl us. I don't even remember how to act like a boy. Everyone will see the way I act and react in think that I want to look this way." Alex just mumbled after that as he cried harder until he was sobbing on Sarah's shoulder. Nothing was said the rest of the way back.
