Twisted dark story.
And not very plausible.

Many of those stories comes out looking as confused memory's of a nightmare.
And in reality that that is what they are.
Thank God for that :)

Yoron.

IT WAS TRULY A MARVELOUS STORY OF PEOPLE AND HUMAN NATURE. THERE ARE
MANY LESSONS THAT COULD BE LEARNED FROM THIS TALE AND I WILL REREAD
IT FOR BOTH THE ENJOYMENT AND THE EDUCATION.

To say anything negative I would have to be so picky as to be unbearable. This is a good tale. A few nits could be picked but all in all a good horror story.

Great story!
Kipling was right.
When I first read this story, it really influenced me to write my own story, "Bikini Beach:  What's Good for the Gander ...".   Rebecca's personality, as it came out in her letter to Mary at the end,  reminded me so much of BB's Old woman.

One of "those" stories with a difference, it kept me interested. I do like your style.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
