I want to like this story like the last one I read but I can't. She committed a crime. Of course the guy really knew it was happening and put up token protest but any type of protest is enough to deligitamize the process used. Having said that the story really doesn't ignite my righteous indignation enoughy to warrant raking it over the coals. I think she would have been better off making it a game to him (the pharmeceuticals).

Although I enjoy reading Rachel Ann Cooper's stories about turning Mr. Macho Problem into a Stepford Wife, which I think is a really great solution , I have often wondered about her boyhood and if her transition was as sweet and easy and as hidden as some of the characters in her stories. I have also noticed that her spelling, punctuation and grammar need some work. I know of only one woman in real life who was so enthusiastically supported by her friends during her transition. Most of the other transsexuals I know have had to face abuse so severe as to border on criminal behavior. That was definitely true in my case, beginning when I was five and going all the way into the military (I was drafted a few months after high school.) Some of those thugs were so mean that I still dislike them.
