I understand from the Pirate's Gold story this author has died or that is how I read it. I hope I am wrong.

As I am unsure how Constance Grant would have taken this forward here is my take on how Brandon (in Cathy’s body) would have gone back to school.

--------------------------------------------------

Had this story gone forward, I see Cathy and Brandon get to know each other in the one body.  Each of their parents marry so Brandon’s mother becomes the body of Cathy’s real new mother.  Brandon’s mother helps her son in being a women but Cathy’s imprint that is left behind helps a great deal as well.  Further, when Cathy communicants with Brandon she tells him things that his mother cannot.

Outside of the family Brandon learns to function on his own and to finish Cathy's schooling.  Cathy had enough grades to see him through but with the stay in hospital and some therapy after which included mental health issues means Brandon could catch up.  It was strange being back at school for many reasons.  There was the memorial for his death which hit the Football team hard, the sympathy for Cathy and having to get used to being a girl in the school he knew so well.  One big issue was using the schools toilets.  When he needed to go he automatically headed for the male ones and he had to make himself look at the female ones and head for it. Many times he found himself almost entering the male toilets because he was passing them.

Cathy did not go back to cheerleading, everyone thought it was because of the death of Brandon but it was really because Cathy was not with him.  He also noticed Cathy’s hand writing had changed and everyone thought it was because of the head injury when in fact it was a mixture of both their hand writing.  Another thing that was hard was being in class and undertaking group work.  Brandon had not worked with all of the persons Cathy had worked with so Brandon sort of stayed in the back ground rather than the forefront.  Luckily the group again thought it was because of the head injury and gave her some slack.  Thus Brandon was able to finish school with the grades Cathy would have got on her own.

Another problem Brandon had was that he was not interested in boys so he found himself checking out the girls and he had fun in the girls changing rooms and showers.  Further the boys were now hitting on Cathy now Brandon was dead.  At school Cathy was known to ‘zone out’ every so often but it was really when Brandon talked to Cathy for advice or knowledge.  Brandon could be sitting in a group seemingly out of it and then come up with the correct answer to a problem or a way of providing the answer to which the group were astonished as to how she could do that.

The both of them were also practising Cathy taking back control of her body.  When she did this Brandon was still in there but sort of to the side.  Cathy would show Brandon how he needed to do something when her body did not have the full remembrance for Brandon to pick up on it.  They had yet to try out any things Cathy’s mother had passed onto them.

I love the concept of 2 souls in the same body. I hope this story continues. it will be interesting to see how Brian deals with sex and what a woman goes through

This was a very intresting Story and it seems like I read it before!  Although I had never made it to this site until This Year.  I happily await for this story to continue and I hope that it does!  I know I am not much of an author for stories however I tend to be good at throwing ideas in and tend to give out quality information when asked and is an area that I may already know about please do not be affarid to ask!

interesting start, but leaves you hanging. Also while Brian's reaction at the occurrences are muted at first they really should be dealt with more thoroughly than simple magical acceptance. Looking forward to future installments.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
