Samantha,

I liked this story, actually read it twice!  Even as a fictional story it reveals much truth about how much a parent will do to protect their child.  It was wrong, perhaps even illegal to put Cindy on contra-hormone therapy without her consent or knowledge but it happened with the best intentions in mind.  Thank God for it being the right choice for Cindy in the long run because she embraced who she was and found that there were many unique benefits to being who she is and she had made very special friendships with others that turned out to enhance her self-esteem of who she is and that being "a bit different" is quite okay.

Kudos to another of your pleasant stories,
Mariah

   Dear Samantha:

I loved this story before and I still love it today. The characters are quickly developed and the crisis is certainly a little unusual. I could see a much more involved and longer version of this but your treatment of the topic is very rewarding.

This story is professionally written with a pervasive sense of fun and playfulness. Especially about the thorns. I also liked the selection of surgeries at the end. Quite different than usual.  A very good read.

   Hugs,

   Kristi

An interesting story of a boy raised as a girl to prevent his father from influencing his attitudes. Spoiler?? maybe a little but Samantha fleashes out the story with much detail and good characterazation.
