Very interesting, so far, but where is the "rest of the story?"

Is my biggest fantasy, dream and wish is to wear a fabulous satin fully skirted wedding gown again. 70 years ago I wore, and eventually ruined, my Mom's fine 1930's vintage satin wedding gown while home alone. Always hoped I'd have another chance to feel such feminine elegance caressing my body but don't think it will happen this late in my 82 year old life. :-(

Your tale has reawakened my passion for all femme satin lingerie and nightgowns (which I do wear when possible) most especially a bridal gown which is at the top of my "Bucket List!"

It would be fantastic to read your continuation of this story.

It never fails to amaze me how boys or even men can get easily feminised. Thanks for your story.

'Mummy's Girl', and now, 'The Day'. If I recall my school maths correctly, two halves make a Hole. Or do they make Half & Half? No wait, that's a dairy product...

The author writes:

>>A sense of sympathy and empathy for women came over him, how men made them dress.

Sighhhh... Repeating the same old, tired propaganda over and over again does not make it more true... WOMEN WEAR WHAT THE HELL THEY WANT, THESE DAYS, okay? If they don't like it, they don't wear it, and manufacturers give up on making it. If they do wear it, it's because they WANT AND CHOOSE TO WEAR IT. When it comes to clothing choices and any sort of emotional expression, men don't have HALF the freedom that women have.

I wish I could be a woman, so that I could join in the fun and blame men for everything, and not have to take responsibility for anything...

<< "Now turn to the mirror, tell me what you see." ... "Don't I look good." He said moving about to prove the image was real. "I'm amazed, how did this happen?"  >>

I loved this story, particularly the epiphany, the moment in the mirror that Susan emerges, because this is exactly what happened to me.  Oh, not helping my mom, and not a wedding dress, but that instant change from normal drab male Bob, without a clue, to happy T-girl Jezzi  when I saw myself dressed and properly made up for the first time.  Forgive the comparison, but like wine to blood, testosterone was, literally in the blink of an eye, transubstatiated to testrogyn.  My immediate thought was, "I've got to find a way to do this again!"  And I did!

I'm an actor, and I was being dressed for my first drag role; I wore a red evening gown.  You can see me as I looked at that time at:

I look like a man in a dress, but it was a start :-)

Thanks Amanda for a very special story, at least to me.
