I thought the judges were wrong on this one. I agree with some of the things that Tom was charged with, but only form a certain perspective. Not only were there extenuating circumstances, but one of the main reasons Tom committed all those crimes was to keep from being caught by the 'bad guys' (denis at the time). As for taking punishment in his own hands, first of all there wasn't really a court for him to turn to (realistically speaking). Second of all neither of the judges courts are what I would call legal since they almost certainly have no jurisdiction from the state (and if they do then they abuse it beyond all reasonable measures).

Anyway besides that I liked the story, as I have the other chapters. Keep on writing please!

A touching chapter in the Andersonville series. And some more of the nature of the town and the powerful people in it. Another fine story Kelly.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
